A beautifully renovated two-storey cottage in the heart of Ballater, Riverside Cottage is the ideal base for exploring Royal Deeside - from distillery tours and Dee fishing to mountain biking, hiking, and winter skiing at The Lecht.
Sleeping up to 6, the cottage offers a lounge with two large sofas and a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a garden-view dining and sitting room, and a downstairs cloakroom with WC. Upstairs: a super-king double, a twin room convertible to a super-king, and a well-appointed bathroom with built-in shower and a separate large double-ended bath. Two further guests are accommodated on a sofa bed in the garden-view room.
The outdoor space has just been completely renovated and features a new lounge terrace with barbeque - ideal for unwinding after a day outdoors. A private courtyard provides a sheltered al fresco dining area for warmer days.
Ballater's restaurants and cafes are a short walk away, or make full use of the well-equipped kitchen and dine at home.

Amazing riverside cottage!! Very clean and everything you could need. Good size bed and very comfortable. Great location and easy for touring around Ballater. Great, friendly communication with host. Would definitely love to stay again in future!!

We had a a great stay. The unit was like new. So pretty and comfortable and lots of room. Nice and quiet but great location. Short walk to the main part of town. We would stay here again!

This was a great location close to everything in this quiet beautiful little town. We had a problem locking the door but just had to read the instruction the owners provided in their booklet. Lol. The townhouse had everything we needed very clean and comfy. We never got a chance to use the hot tub as we were too tired from our trip to Balmoral castle which was the highlight of our stay.
