Location. Staff is a 10.

Huge pillar blocking the views. The bed is too close to the window. Super uncomfortable to get in and out of the bed. Elevators take forever. Pool is minuscule and cold. Breakfast is ok. Quality not the best but loads of options. Parking/garage stinks! We had to change spaces 3 times :( and got woken up in the morning for a mistake they made.

The views from my apartment were immaculate. The breakfast was such a steal! Warm and delicious breakfast with lots to choose from.

I did not like that there weren’t any windows to open and the only “fresh air” was via air-con. That should be a disclaimer when making a booking. The lifts also broke down every day and I was there for 5nights - very inconvenient. Lastly, cleaning was never done throughly - no sweeping/ mopping or changing of bedding. There was also no broom in the room to sweep myself. Please work on the cleanliness of the rooms.

Could have been better.

The cleanliness was satisfactory and the hotel was easy to locate. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There was no parking available. I felt very inconvenienced and had to park at a centre in the building next door. It then took me about 20 minutes the following morning to locate my car. In addition, the lifts were quite confusing and extremely delayed. I, along with other guests on my floor, had to wait approximately 10 minutes for a lift. Several guests were also complaining about the long wait times.

The real only thing I liked was the breakfast.

So, when you mention you are a hotel, you would expect that their onsite restaurant at least does room deliveries and dinner. Even though the breakfast at the restaurant was the best of the place, they close early and is not open for dinner, they do not do deliveries to the rooms. Furthermore, this hotel refuses for Uber/Mr deliveries to deliver to your door, and you need to go down to get it in reception, as no one else can bring it to you. Their lifts are a huge concern; they broke down twice while I was there. The one day I needed to climb 28 flights of stairs to get to my floor (I was on the 25th floor and there are 3 flights before the official 1st floor) and room. I hurt my ancle and could not go down to get my food and I needed to beg them for someone to bring my delivery up that I can just eat dinner. No idea where the pool or fitness areas are, and if they have these areas. WIFI, no idea what the password is, and when I asked reception, they said they will get back to me. Still waiting. I asked for a recommendation of a restaurant, they only referred me to camps bay and could not suggest a restaurant and did a google search (I did it before asking them). You would expect more for concierge services. No sea views from the room I booked, which it states when I booked, sea view, mountain view, and city view. Airport shuttle is R550 one way, which is 4.5 times more expensive than Uber. This is not a hotel; it is an apartment building that they rent out units. It should not be called a hotel. Loads of maintenance needs to be done, starting with lifts that sound like they are going to kill someone soon.

Dream hotel

I liked everything about the hotel so clean and the staff were very friendly from reception to the brakefast i felt welcomed. Brakefast was the best. the view from my room was the best. The hotel is in the center and is easy for you to reach places like table mountain camps, bay waterfront, as well as airport. I would want to visit again.

The fact that there was no extra blanket and 1 of the night was cold, Cape Town weather is very unpredictable. I called the receptionist to see if I could get an extra blanket. I was told only tomorrow morning. Here is my suggestion: It is better to keep an extra blanket in the wardrobe in case the guest would like extra warmth.

My Number One - One Thibault

Thats everything was so convenient in and around the building, the staff was super helpful and my room was cleaned with everything back in place, the café downstairs and the breakfast buffet was so well provided for - I will definitely book my stay here again when returning to CT.

Only that some of the kitchene features were very high and I am short, I had to use the chair to use the microwave and reach for the toaster and open some cupboards.

The location is great. The room was smaller than I thought, but it was value for money and clean. The staff were very efficient and very friendly, from check in to check out everyone was really good at their job. Security was also good, access was controlled and I felt safe. The amenities ie kettle, microwave, fridge helped with the self catering

The lack of dining options. No restaurant after 4:00pm, but coffee shop kept open until 10:00pm and saved the day. There was little by way of toiletries. Got only one tissue roll for the five days I was there, had to bring in my own supplies of soap, lotion and toilet roll.
