Very poor air conditioning in bedrooms

Great location. Lovely self catering apartments. Clean and spacious.

We struggled to find the apartment at night. This was warned in the joining instructions that sometimes Apple Maps and Google Maps struggle with the narrow Italian streets. Ideally arrive by daylight.

Location was good. About 10 min walk from the tower. Apartment was spacious. Facilities were good. Tea and coffee supplied.

Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work in one of the rooms. When I contacted the host about it, was told that it was working and I should reset it myself. This did nothing. Then was told to leave all doors open to other rooms to cool the bedroom. This didn't work. Also told the host that the fan was broken in the room. They replied saying it was new and how was it broken! The fan was covered in dust and a blade was missing. Definitely not new. Bathroom had black stains on the grouting and silicone and the door wouldn't close properly meaning water was escaping. Also all the beds were very noisy. They are all metal bed frames and made a lot of noise when you roll over. Windows didn't seal properly and the noise from the street and local restaurant were very loud and kept waking us. Very disappointed
