amazingly beautiful quiet and relaxing

The chip shop opposite tesco in the main town tasted great but did nothing but repeat all night and most of the next day id skip it

Great location but absolutely freezing

The location was great to enable us to catch a early morning ferry

We turned up to find the caravan in darkness, the electrics having tripped. A quick phone call to the owners guided us to the fuse box and allowed us to switch the electrics back on. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the heating. We were unable to get it working and the caravan was absolutely Baltic. There is a small heater in the lounge area so we ended up sleeping on the sofa in the lounge in an attempt to stay warm. We didn’t dare use the shower facilities as the bathroom was so cold. All in all not a comfortable night at all

Idyllic wee mini break on way to Ireland.

Lovely place, was spotless, very welcoming and very well equipped. Wee Christmas tree, candles and decorations. Just couldn’t fault the place at all. Felt like a home from home, dogs fell asleep in front of the fire. Only there one night sadly but felt had been away for days! Thank you so much! Would love to come back again to no 47!

Very comfortable, spotless and cosey.

Excellent caravan, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We stayed during storm bram and felt very safe and comfortable. The owner was brilliant in communication and helped us to get a taxi to the ferry. Would highly recommend.

We didn't have a private car and you need one to stay on the site. Our friend drove us so we were OK and had a lovely chippy in Stranraer.

Facilities were fine,,comfy beds

Steps onto decking we're very high and steep and one of our party struggled with them as she is 90 years old,seating wasn't the most comfortable , Returned to wig bay after 23 years though site had some improvement it's not as good as we remembed and was a little run down

Lovely, helpful owner, very clean, reasonable but mattress dreadful.

Owner couldn’t haven’t been nicer and was flexible with check-in/out time. Her communication was informative and helpful and she was very welcoming. The caravan was very clean and reasonably priced.

The double bed mattress was in very poor condition with springs digging through and the bed was really hard. Didn’t have a comfortable nights sleep at all. The living room seating needs renewed as well.

A lovely clean caravan with everything you need for a holiday. The location is a short walk from a beach and near to ports and the picturesque village of Portpatrick. The owner is great and responded quickly to any correspondence.

The rude receptionist who I met with when I was unsure about something on the campsite, however the lady who this caravan belongs to is great and is happy to help with any questions .

Cosy and excellent value for money stay in Stranraer!

The host thought of absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay in this cosy static home. Peaceful location and bonus for it being dog Friendly! Everything needed for cooking/cleaning and plenty of toiletries provided. Clear and friendly communication.

A cosy we home from home.

Very cosy and homely, very clean and smelled really nice. It had everything you could possibly need for a self-catering holiday and more. It really was a home from home. Lovely location and a great price as well.

I struggled to get a good run of cold water from the kitchen tap, so I would definitely advise future guests to take some bottled water. Also, I couldn't really get warm water in the shower, so I had to have a lukewarm shower that went cold.

Spacious and clean mobile home. Good price too. We stayed one night on our way to the Cairnryan ferry to NI. Originally there were 4 of us but I persuaded my dad to join and informed the owner who couldn’t be more helpful and left extra bedding for the sofa bed in the lounge. She left us clear instructions including how to use the heating but it was a very warm place so we didn’t need it. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. Nice shower too. All in all a great stay.

Very well stocked caravan that was very clean with lovely interior. There was even a dog bed which our little Patterdale loved he was straight on it. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need.
