My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved the room and the garden and good breakfast, but the thing that kind of put a dent in our wonderful stay was that the receptionist didn't tell us that if the jacuzzi filled up to a certain point (way below the shoulders, if one was sitting in the jacuzzi), the jacuzzi would start to the spit water out. Well, this actually happened and flooded the room with water, spraying the closet which faced the jacuzzi, and was very hard to turn off because of the auto lock function. It was really crazy and ruined our night - luckily, we both had good humor and laughed about it, but it really interrupted the peaceful night we were having, enjoying the sauna (which was great - no complaints there), and we couldn't believe that the receptionist didn't know about this malfunctioning of the jacuzzi. So we had to ask the night receptionist for about 20 towels, and at least he helped to clean up all the water, and at least the water didn't get on the bed itself or on our computers (thankfully!), because if our laptops had gotten wet, it would have cost us a lot more than money. Anyway, it would have been perfect if not for this, so be sure to check with the receptionist about the jacuzzi to make sure it does NOT do this. It was basically useless because who wants to sit in a jacuzzi just waist high? The whole point is the be able to have one's shoulders covered in the water. So just be careful of this if you stay here. Other than that, the location was great and tons of restaurants around and also, super easy to get to great sights around the city. We still loved Palermo and we had a memorable stay, even with the spitting jacuzzi.

no private parking, poor soundproofing, noisy late night restaurants across the road, to drive-in/out you have to go through pedestrian narrow streets.
they promise you to pack a breakfast for early departure and forget about it in the morning.
very high price for so many cons, and too few pros to back them up.
rooms are ok, located near city center.
