The staff are genuinely caring, any questions answered, nothing is too much. Thank you Salvo, Lucas, Silvia, Maria, the amazing breakfast crew and the owner who came to introduce himself. The room got cleaned every day by lovely ladies and new towels supplied when needed. We loved the quirkiness of the property, you would never imagine the oasis behind the steel door. The pool, space to lounge around is great. Within 10 minutes walk you can reach the modern train station to go to e.g. Cefalu and buses depart to explore the city further. We took the bus to Mondello beach as the weather was reaching 40 degrees during our stay. Every day it was a relief to come back to the airco room, comfortable bed and as we were on the ground floor walk straight into the pool. There are lots of nice restaurants in the area. We particularly liked A’nica on the Via Allora 135. You can book a table online if you want to make sure you have a table inside which was so necessary in the heat. As everyone is mentioning in their comments, breakfast is amazing. So much choice, such a bunch of lovely people and in addition, every day via WhatsAp, you can order fresh from the bakery. They arranged transfer from and to the airport which was very good. I can certainly recommend their service. Last to mention is that our taxi came to pick us up at 18.00 hrs but we could store our luggage and we could still use the pool and changing facilities in the wellness area during the day.

Our rain shower had a slight defect. A few more hooks in the bathroom would have been nice for the towels or dry swimsuits. It’s a shame we couldn’t use the rooftop more as it was too hot. Even for breakfast walking up the heat was not pleasant.

beautiful hotel with history and the most amazingly staff - everyone who works there is SO friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like an invited guest in their home - always doing little extra things to make you feel as comfortable as possible e.g. on a very hot day bringing lemon granita ices to everyone around and in the pool. We will definitely stay here again - we cannot wait to come back as we feel we have made friends with many of the staff

Stepping through the door from the rather grungy street is like going through the wardrobe into Narnia. This is a charming oasis in a renovated tomato processing factory. The staff stand out - helpful, friendly, well trained and thoughtful. The rooms are well finished, carefully designed and well air-conditioned. The gym, pool, hot spa and roof terrace make for the perfect place to unwind and chill after exploring Palermo. In less than half a block you are in the old town and finding cafés and bars.

Nothing that the hotel can fix. Some drivers had difficulty finding the hotel (apparently some map app issue) but the staff were able to help them out - just something to be mindful of.
