The place and the pool was really nice. Breakfast was really good.

The spa was closed as they were renewing it, so we were’t able to use the jacuzzi. This was not told us when we reserved. We actually asked for pictures of the spa and they told us to look on Instagram and the room with the jacuzzis was in the pictures so we had assumed it was available. We were able to use a pool with a jacuzzi outside which was nice though. There is not a real restaurant but they bring food from an external restaurant. The issue is that we had to order the food in the afternoon even if we want to eat at night. This is not ideal as you may not know what you want to eat a few hours in advance and how hungry you are going to be. Brining food or drinks from outside is not allowed unless you pay an additional fee of 25% of your room price.Since they don’t have a real restaurant I strongly think they should remove this policy. Overall I think the place is nice but the price we paid (more than 8000 pesos for 2 nights) was too much for what we got and considering that the place is under renewal and we didn’t know when we reserved.

Beautiful boutique hotel

Pros: beautiful, peaceful surroundings and serene atmosphere. There is a review saying they felt isolated but, for us, this is part of the charm of the place - it is meant to be away from the hustle and bustle of the centre and only enhances the experience in my opinion. The service of the two owners was impeccable and they were always trying to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay as good as it was. The breakfast is delicious and filling, it consists of coffee, fresh orange juice (delicious), sweet pastry (concha), fruit (papaya) and your choice of Mexican style eggs (Rancheros were our favourite) - everything is fresh and delicious. Room has a nice large bed and very nice spa quality bathroom amenities. The TV had Netflix which was nice at the end of a long day out sightseeing. Bar area is great for a beer or cocktail and the pool area is ideal for sunbathing. Bike rental is a nice touch but be aware the cycle up the hill into town is hard work - better to walk the bikes up to the arches but the cycle back from town is all downhill and very enjoyable! There is a small gym with some dumbbells I used one morning but it’s pretty basic and there is a spa which looked lovely but which we didn’t have time to try out.

Cons: Not many but it’s worth noting that the room didn’t have a hairdryer, the bar doesn’t stock wine and it’s a 20 minute walk to town from the hotel.

Perfecto.

El lugar es precioso, cada detalle de gusto exquisito, la naturaleza cuidada al máximo en cada rincón. Los desayunos muy ricos y muy buena relación entre precio-cantidad-calidad y una hermosa presentación de todos los platillos. Comida o cena no consumimos , pero desayunos altamente recomendados. La atención del personal también muy notable. La limpieza de la habitación increíble, toallas y ropa de cama en modo pulcro- te hacen sentir en casa. Lo recomiendo altamente.

Quizá únicamente que la alberca no esta climatizada, pero la verdad la temperatura no es una limitante para que dejes de disfrutar los camastros y la zona de sombrillas.

Aunque nos comentaron que el agua de la alberca estaría cálida, la realidad es que estaba muy fría y no pudimos disfrutarla como esperábamos. Si la alberca estuviera a una temperatura cómoda, estoy segura de que los huéspedes estarían más inclinados a pasar más tiempo en el hotel, lo que se traduciría en más ventas de bebidas y comidas. Probamos dos botanas, únicamente nos saltó el precio de las papas a la francesa, por lo demás todo bien. Esperamos regresar ya que fue un lugar que nos gustó mucho y tener la suerte de encontrar el agua de la alberca cálida.

Alberca gira y mal servicio; no al nivel de un hotel boutique

Alberca fría!!! No pude usarla; fotos que no son justas con el tamaño real del lugar; pizza fría, capuchino frío; ruido del personal, nadie me ayudó a entrar o salir con el equipaje… se molestaron porque pedí calentar un café frío

Además de lo anterior, si estaban muy atentos a que me fuera a las 12:00; no hubo ningún intento de compensar las fallas; lo reporte al salir, no tomaron nota y no se disculparon

Excelente lugar para descansar

las instalaciones son muy buenas y la atención del personal es excelente, la alberca tiene el agua fría pero esta de muy buen tamaño, además cumple perfectamente con el objetivo que es descansar, uno se siente apartado de todo

la comida esta pensada en extranjeros ya que no picaba nada y le faltaba un poco de sabor a mi personal percepción, el internet en los cuartos no es muy bueno ya que la televisión tardaba mucho en cargar las aplicaciones y no hay señal de televisión

Lugar tranquilo y bien cuidado

El lugar era muy bonito y el personal muy amable y atento. Además, los desayunos eran bien ricos, muy recomendable.

La habitación que nos tocó tenía unas vistas espectaculares, pero cambiaría dos cosas: 1. Al no estar bien sellada por el techo, entraban muchos mosquitos. 2. Cerraría el baño para tener una mayor privacidad. Tuvimos la mala suerte de que en la casa de al lado traían una fiesta muy ruidosa, pero es algo ajeno al hotel y ellos se preocuparon de tratar de ponerle solución.

Es un gran hotel DE DESCANSO. Es bonito, muy bien diseñado, muy recomendable. El sr. Francisco muy claro y atento.

Su barra (precios) es muy cara (Aperol $210, cerveza $90) me parece exagerado para ser malinalco. Y su restaurante le falta sazón (-15%) pero sobreprecios (+30%) en precio-valor. Demasiado estrictos en su check out que desde las 10 am te están avisando que tienes que salir a las 12 pm (10 mins tolerancia) o te cobrarán $270 pesos por cada hrs de retraso.
