Lovely location, Very quiet and relaxing. The bungalow is ideal for someone wanting a place to spend time in and relax.

This place is ideal if you have a car to travel the island, if you’re on foot and want to get to the main parts of the island the taxi fairs will add up (expect £35-£70 from here to lamlash/brodick) I only paid the taxi twice as we went for a meal so I can’t complain!

Perfect cottage for the perfect stay

The cottage was perfect for what we needed. It was central on the island and everything we wanted to do was within reach. Upon arriving we were greeted with accommodation that was spotless and it felt so homely. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

A self-catering gem

Wonderfully well appointed, spacious for two, with lots of great details, including a very comfortable mattress! Local, fresh milk and other produce nearby. Great weather also helped.

A comfortable cottage in a great location

The cottage was in a lovely location and had excellent facilities. Everything was clean and worked. The property was open when I arrived and I just had to leave the doors unlocked when I left.

I am in my late sixties and don't have a smartphone. I checked my email at home before leaving and there was no messages about the property - they arrived after I left. Luckily the cottage was open and the owner lived across the road so there was no problem. Travelnest, please don't assume that everyone is permanently on line. Not being on line is one of the pleasures of going on holiday.
