I’d be unlikely to stay there again

Nothing in particular

Felt cold and damp. Electricity was expensive and promised £5 per day contribution was not provided. Cooker didn’t work properly. WiFi didn’t work. Had to contact someone by phone to have it cleaned as hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived.

Dirty and damp

We got there around 9 pm. It was very difficult to park in an unlit area. Someone had parked their car on the walkway to the lodges, so it was clear there was no one about managing the place. It was not made obvious how to lock the door. All of the plates, cups, cutlery, and bowls were dirty or chipped. There was a musty, damp smell throughout, and l could smell it on our clothes throughout the holiday. The main bedroom smelled of stale cigarette smoke.There is a number available if you needed help, but there's no phone reception while in the lodge, so it's pretty useless. We were not expecting five-star luxury, but we were expecting basic hygiene codes to be met. We were also not expecting to have to monitor the electricity and feed the meter? We won't be back.

Alles da was man braucht

Die Lage ist super, alles notwendige war gut erreichbar.

Um Strom zu haben, müssten £1,-- Münzen in den Zähler eingeworfen werden. (Wurden bereitgestellt). Hat man das vergessen, gab es keine Heizung und kein Licht. Die Matratzen waren unglaublich hart.
