Lovely place to stay. Cleanliness needs to be better.
The area was great the Cottage itself was spacious and nicely laid out.
The hot water runs out in the shower fairly quickly, our sheets had stains/ marks on them and smelt a little funny.

Great place to explore the neighbourhood from
We were getting ample amount of information before checking in (and there was no need to contact during our stay). The location is well within walking distance both to explore the town, as well as the neighbourhood (which both look awesome).
It took us some time to grok the heating (the place was chilly upon our arrival), and as a family of four, we occasionally ran out of hot water. While we've considered the living room somewhat dark, it is great for spending a cozy night.

Fantastic, love the cottage also the “high” bed really snug.
Love Wood Cottage and location. I owned this property early 2000’s. Lived next door No 47 for 21 years. Cottage situation is ideal for shops and food venues. Fantastic walks in Lynton and Lynmouth. The property is adequate if four people were staying all decent sized rooms. Lovely patio at the rear.
The lounge is very dark, the lighting is not adequate for the size of the room. Difficult to read a magazine. On watching the television you notice the glare of the two wall lights either side of the television which is uncomfortable on the eyes.
