We had a wonderful stay at Clooneavin and would hope to stay again

The property is self catering and is adequately set up for this purpose. the apartment was very clean and tidy. Good hanging and storage for clothing. Good bed comfort, bathroom has shower in bath. The view out of the front window was absolutely amazing, being in an elevated position looking out to sea and over the town of Lynmouth and the cliffs to the east and the woodlands that take you along beautiful walks up to watersmeet, a must do if you can. Have stayed here twice now and have never had any problems with the parking at the property. The property owner Gillian was wonderful with us.

A week on Exmoor October Half Term

The view is stunning and the character of this Edwardian property is further enhanced with lots of quirky nik naks on show in this treasure trove. Gillian was a great host at Clooneavin.

An absolutely wonderful stay in a lovely apartment overlooking the sea.

Fabulous location. Magnificent house. The owner is wonderful and the welcome is second to none. There is a private path down towards the harbour. Free parking onsite. My small apartment (for 1 or 2 people) was excellent, and well equipped. My dog was welcomed.

Great place to go to get a nice view overlooking Lynmouth.

The views were awesome. Owner was friendly.

Parking was tricky unless you have a small car - particularly when there was 5 cars. It’s a very step climb to the car park. Difficult turn for my estate car coming from Lynmouth. Best to use coming from Lynton. The electricity was metered. Although we were given £5 to feed the meter it deterred us from using the heating and using the water heating. The shower was electric so it was ok.

We paid £770 for this flat through Sykes but booking direct with owner would have been £375

The price, if we had paid directly with owner it would have been half the price. The owner was appalled when we told her what we paid. We will not trust Sykes again.

The place to stay in the area.

Location is perfect with amazing view. Equally spaced between lynmouth and lynton. The owner was lovely and friendly. Very comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Private parking is a huge bonus.

Nothing, is enjoyed the whole experience. The infirm should probably avoid the whole area due to the nature of the terrain. But this isn't negitive of the accomodation but the area as a whole

Sink in the bedroom made gurgling noises, even though it wasn't used.

The location was superb with fantastic sea views.The brerakfast was excellent as we prepared them ourselves.Only a few minutes into the villages of Lynmouth and Lynton

Had a good stay but the Flat was dated , and not what you would expect in this day and age.

Superb veiw one of the best i have had. Gill was lovely and sociable. The house was full of amazing arrayof all sorts of interesting stuff. Super sitting out on the garden balcony with a fantastic veiw .

The flat was a little behind the times. Water was a trickle out of the kitchen tap ,the shower was pretty poor ,and the toilet had a knack to it.You felt as if you had gone back in time i,m afraid .

brilliant holiday

Location brilliant, wonderful views, Gillian is the best host anyone could wish for, very helpful and friendly. The flat was just as expected spotless clean and photos on website are exactly as the flat is.
