Warm and comfortable place, perfect for a cold and wild January weekend.

Great location in the heart of Lynmouth. The hosts gave perfect instructions for finding the parking space and the appartment. The keys were in a locked box and had there been any issues I could have contacted the hosts. The appartment itself was very clean. spacious and comfortable. The hosts made me feel very welcome with some extra touches :)

A Fabulous Place to stay

Amazing location close to shops, pubs, galleries and access to great walks. Private parking was a bonus. Very clean property with a relaxing lounge inc. TV, board games, and great heating. The kitchen had all we needed to cook during our stay. Thanks for the dog treats & NYE welcome bubbly n scones...a lovely arrival surprise for us & our pup!

It's hard to find something we didnt like...but I guess the shower could have been a little more powerful.

Location was perfect, nice size one bedroom apartment

Although owner requests dogs not to be allowed into bedroom, people who have stayed clearly ignored, dog’s hairs found on blanket luckily we didn’t need to use item. free toiletries, none left for our stay received apology, 5 sachets of shower/hair gel dropped off. Very difficult to open and about one teaspoon in each we had brought a small amount of our own toiletries luckily, no supermarket in lynmouth which highlighted the importance of ensuring items are either provided or not included in accommodation description. No normal tea only green, earl grey & flavour. Dog ball found under sofa

A light bright flat with excellent facilities, enhanced by the views and the private parking

Flat was on the sea front facing Wales; rooms were airy and light. Kitchen was well equiped even though we eat out most of the time, all the facilities were there if you wanted to cook anything.. Private parking was close by and easy to find.

The situation of it being an upstairs flat meantt steepish stairs. Also just be aware that local retaurants were only open on some evenings and it some cases closed at 19.00. (I assume that this was a seasonal factors for May and certainly not a criticism of the flat.)

Spotless, airy, light, self-catering apartment for two in the heart of Lynmouth with sea views

We were looking for a clean, spacious, central self-catering apartment for two as a base for exploring the area and meeting up with family. Postman's Knock met all our expectations and more. The apartment has everything you might need for cooking your own meals (the sea view from the kitchen and front room was wonderful!), yet there are plenty of places to eat out on your doorstep. The settee's were comfortable, light and airy front room, spotless kitchen, cosy bedroom. Having a place to park your car so close was very convenient, and within a few steps from the apartment was a pasty shop, fudge shop, art gallery, fish and chip shop, cafe's, crazy golf, park, river walk and the sea. Highly recommended.

Nothing related to the flat. We had read that there was not a supermarket in Lynmouth and brought our own ingredients to cook meals for the two of us. It was a pleasant surprise to find milk, tea, coffee and scones, cream and jam left by the apartment owners. If you do plan to eat in then do bring cereals, pasta etc as the nearest shop we found (Londis) was in Lynton. Plenty of places closeby in Lynmouth to eat out, including a cafe that served pizzas in the evening a few steps away.

Postman’s knock is a lovely flat in a central location with wonderful views of the sea and river.

It was spacious, lovely decor and in a great location. The views are beautiful.

The hallway is quite dark as the light takes a while to come on. The bed was rather firm but this is a personal preference.
