Our home lies in the heart of Old Town Villefranche Sur Mer on the water’s edge, with breathtaking views of the Bay, Chapelle Saint-Pierre, restaurants, cafes and shops all just steps outside our door: 10 minutes stroll to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the train station giving you convenient access to Nice, Cannes, Monaco, and Italy.
On the top floor of a charming 3 story building, our home has an ensuite double bed and bathroom while the open loft accommodates 2 additional guests with their own wash and shower room. Make yourself at home with a kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, and a mini refrigerator.
Please note that Passport and ID verification will be needed before check in.

A perfectly located apartment. Clean, fresh, welcoming with an amazing view of the bay. Only a couple of minor issues that if solved would have made the stay even better!! The beds weren't great, not very comfortable, with plastic sheeting. And one shower didn't drain. Otherwise - no complaints and would stay again.

Lots of stairs to 3rd floor were hard on my old knees lugging luggage. My spouse is alergic to perfumes in the soap, but she washed all the towells and sheets immediately, which solved that problem.Despite that, the apartment was excellent and we would gladly return there..

Great apartment in a fantastic location situated within easy reach of all local amenities and transport. Communication with host and property manager were excellent and when we lost water in the main bathroom due to a faulty pressure valve in the system it was fixed quickly and efficiently. As others have stated, being an older building and synonymous to the style, the entry door and staircase were narrow so you have to be mindful of taking large luggage. We knew of this beforehand so it wasn’t a surprise when we got there, just something to consider.

This property worked brilliantly for our family of 4. The children had a separate bathroom and toilet. Adults had a bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The location in Villefranche sur Met is excellent.

Absolutely loved our stay! No complaints whatsoever. Beautiful and actually practical layout for a small family 4. Clean and well equipped. The owner is extremely friendly and vey helpful! Vanessa, his assistant, went above and beyond for us and was extremely professional and kind. We had such a fantastic time and we are looking forward to booking a longer stay soon. The town is incredible and perfect location to explore Villefranche and surrounding areas. Lots of great restaurants as well. Clean, well equipped and right where all the action is. The view, simply gorgeous! To me there was no downside at all. We loved the place and we already are trying to figure out when we can make it back. Definitely will stay when we come back. I do want to point out that this place is definitely not easily accessible to everyone. There are several steep stairs to access the apartment. Of course, ALL the places we stayed in France were old historic buildings and they all had the same style of stairs. So this is very common. We did our research and we were not surprised. I’m sure it was in the listing but as hotel owners ourselves in Costa Rica, people don’t always read the details so I wanted to share here. 😊 Best advice: Pack light and travel with small suitcases. We did and that made our 2 week vacation so much easier. Then book your stay here and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Hong and Family as well as Vanessa! The location can’t be beat! Reasonable paid parking close by. The apartment is at the top of a pretty steep set of stairs that is somewhat difficult to manage with luggage (even for two fit people). The loft is not made for tall people which is obvious because it is a loft. But, It is modern inside and very comfortable. I would say it is a touch on the noisy side just because you are in the center of the action. Bars and restaurants steps from the door. Loved the town and the apartment made it feel like home for a few days.

This was a wonderful stay. The town is relaxed but fun. The property is walking distance to many great restaurants and 2 beautiful beaches. The stairs to the property were steep but to the loft were very easy. The beds were both comfortable

We stayed for 10 nights in this gorgeous apartment in Villefranche-ser-mer and it was absolutely perfect! The apartment was spacious, beautifully styled, overlooked the Mediterranean Sea and was in a perfect location. The kitchen had everything you needed and honestly it was just the perfect holiday! We absolutely loved it!!

Wonderful property that provided our family with the necessary space and amenities (washing machine, dishwasher and two bathrooms). Two bedrooms/beds and a couch in common room for one of our kids to sleep on. Great location. Only issue would be lots of stairs (steep/narrow) so this would not be ideal for those with mobility issues. We enjoyed our 4 night stay.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights and were absolutely delighted by our experience. The management communication is top notch and they made the process very easy. The location of the apartment is incredible. We had a view of the water, could walk right out and have a dozen+ restaurants to choose from, and it was an easy 10 minute walk to the train stop. This apartment comfortably can host 4-5 adults, has 2 showers and 2 bathrooms, plus a small kitchen, kitchen table and living room area. For two of us, it was like a luxury space! I will offer this one caveat: If you have any mobility issues at all, this apartment is not the right one for you. You have to go up several steep and high flights of stairs. The last stair into the apartment was a bit laughably high for someone short (I'm 5'4") so if you have stiff joints or other mobility issues, I would give this space a pass. The same if you're bringing heavy luggage you can't easily carry up and down several flights of stairs. A few tips: To get dropped off, give the driver the address of a nearby business you can offer (ask management for suggestions) The apartment itself isn't on a street so you need to be dropped close to it (totally not an issue for getting there, just something to know). To get to the train, take a left out of the apt & then a right. You'll be walking down a pedestrian-only street lined with businesses & apartments, and then the path curves to the train. No stairs! Highly rec this stay!

Hong‘s apartment overlooking the square and the sea is a real gem. It’s got a the best location you could ask for with real Old Town charm. Yes, the stairs are steep, it’s an old townhouse. Yes the water pressure is not a power shower, it’s an old house. Yes there might be people chatting and having a good time after 10pm, it’s a holiday destination, people are enjoying themselves in the evening.The apartment provides you with everything you need, the host Vanessa was very efficient and helpful. Communication was excellent. We didn’t want to leave. We are already planning on coming back.

The property was located in the heart of Villefranche right beside the citadel, shops and restaurants. Great location and a great apartment. Easy access to Nice via the train which is a short walk away. Parking is not easy to find on the weekend and is expensive. The access to the apartment is probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are uneven stairs to get up. We did however manage and this would be typical of most apartments in the area. Overall a clean apartment which was pretty much as it was advertised. The check in and out was very easy and the entertainment around the location was excellent. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

The apartment could not have been located any better. Right smack in the middle of town. Turn one way out the door and you’re steps from the harbor, turn the other you’re at the bakery and restaurants. The view is great, the AC worked well enough. A few things to keep in mind… there was only one hand towel, the clothes washer does not have a dryer so everything has to be air dried inside. While we were there the microwave didn’t work for the whole 2 weeks, and the water pressure made it so we couldn’t use the kitchen, or other bathrooms for a few days. The owners knew about this weeks ahead of time so we should have been told before arriving versus just having to deal with it. If you are over 6’ you’ll have to crouch down in the kitchen, and the stairs… I counted 36 very steep and uneven stairs each time you want to go in or out. This made the location less convenient and sometimes I didn’t go out just to avoid the stairs. Anyone with joint issues or problems getting up or down stairs easily should think twice. Every place on the third floor in old town is like this to be fair, but it was a bit of a chore. And only one dull knife isn’t great trying to cut baguettes. Communication with the local agent Vanessa was fantastic. VF is lovely and this place was well located and nicely redone in a quaint old authentic building and we had a great time.

I didn't know what to expect when we opened the door to our apartment building to find a narrow, steep staircase but the apartment itself was very bright and modern. The location is excellent with beautiful views and easy access to bars,restaurants,supermarket and public transport. We would all be happy to stay there again.

I hate to leave a less-than-stellar review, but perhaps it was just an off-week here for us. Due to traffic, we didn’t receive a formal check-in process, and no welcome booklet was provided so we were on our own figuring things out. The front door entry was a little startling - very narrow for luggage, and very dark. Inside there were a few things amiss, like the broken microwave and a non-working burner. Water pressure in the lofted bathroom and kitchen was non-existent. And we were not prepared for how low the lofted ceiling was! An adult can't stand in the bathroom/shower at that level, and even our seven-year-old knocked his poor head more than once on the ceiling beams. I think some of these issues can be rectified to make this a nearly perfect stay. There were some nice touches, like beach towels and beach furniture provided, and we were grateful for the washing machine. The location can't be beat - right in the middle of it all! Although if you're a light sleeper, the nearby bar and restaurant music will keep you awake, so a good pair of earplugs is recommended.

Location is perfect. I had great communications with the host. The Host manager was welcoming and helpful. The apartment is lovely. The kitchen was great. And Villefranche is so beautiful. We walked to nearby towns easily. The beach is close. Train station is a few minute walk. There are restaurants with music across the street, which we enjoyed in the evenings. (They quiet down at a reasonable time and the windows are newer and block a lot of sound, if needed.) Would definitely stay there again.

Very responsive communication with owner and his local agent was so much appreciated. The location of this unit at beachfront in Villafranche had a marvelous view and made eveerything accessible by walking, including beach, train station, multiple restaurants. The property was well equipped and most adequately furnished. All of the internal systems worked perfectly.

Overall excellent property. Very clean with modern finishes. Right in the heart of the town. Restaurants and shops within steps of the front door. About 5-10 minute walk along the waterfront to get to train station that connects Villfranche with Nice, Monaco, and other French Riviera towns. Incredible view of the water. A few things to note. AC is not incredibly powerful but kept the place at a comfortable temperature (outside temp about 24C when we stayed). The steps up to the apartment is fairly narrow and steep which would make it difficult for some with mobility issues. Overall though, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I don't think you'll find a much better value in Villefranche. Excellent place for anyone looking for a comfortable, upscale stay in the heart of a French Riviera town.

After a bustling tour of Paris and Provence, this gem of a stay was what I needed to wind down my tour of France. After a much needed restful sleep the first night, since it was just me i slept in the comfy loft, I spent a lazy morning having coffee at the table looking out at the sea. Didn't take me long to walk out the front door and the whole town of Villefranche sur Mer was just steps from the apartment. I walked everywhere: shops, cafes, restaurants, museums, lots of chapels, promenades, boats, beaches, even the train station. Even though there were a few convenience stores, I ate out most of the time and brought back leftovers to the apartment and ate staring at the views outside. Highly recommend this gem of a stay, clean, light and airy, so comfy and cozy, and the location is just perfect. You'll enjoy it as much as I did.
