Clean and quiet

I left my cellphone charger there and went back to get the luggage at the end of the day after checking out but the front desk didn’t inform me about the stuff I left in the room.

Almost everything—several train stations, Ueno Park, Kappabashi, and Asakusa—is within a 10–12 minute walk. If that sounds far, you might want to rethink travelling to Japan 😄 The neighborhood has a nice balance at night: it’s lively enough that you’ll easily find food and drinks, but not overcrowded or affected by heavy tourism or noise. The rooms are on the smaller side, but if you’re traveling light (no big 25 kg suitcases), it’s perfectly manageable. We were two people with only carry-on luggage and had no issues at all. A big plus: they can store your luggage before check-in. We arrived at 9 am and this was a lifesaver. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and relaxed trip.

Great if you just need somewhere to sleep. Very quiet area, easy to check in and out.

Very basic, tiny room, not much provided. The double room is probably good for a single person, but extremely cramped for two. We hardly saw any staff other than to check in and get extra pillows (which they had run out of).
