Disappointed

Good location. Clean.

Couldn't use the shower in the bathroom because there was no shower head holder. Also a window in the wall next to the bath. No extractor fan in the bathroom toilet. Shower cubicle. The shower ran hot and cold. Living room. Chair and settee not comfy. TV very old you can only get Freeview and no BBC iPlayer ITV X My5 or channel 4. WiFi weak. Garden to small. Weeds coming through block paving. The patio steel table and chairs are very rusty. The sun can't enter the garden due to high fencing and conservatory.

Comfortable interesting place to stay.

Fascinating house. Lots of memorabilia from owners life/travels. Nice quality furniture and very comfortable. Conservatory and garden furnished to sit in as we were there when weather glorious. Lovely ornate chair in corner of garden. Very peaceful in nice neighbourhood. Easy parking outside of back garden. Only had breakfast so did not use cooking facilities but full oven and gas hob in kitchen. About 10 minutes walk to some restaurants and bars. Bit further to centre, Marks and Spencer and station. Good service if you fancy trip shopping to Liverpool on day return ticket good value.

The door to the garden from conservatory could be awkward to close as could front door. The garden is quite overgrown. Which is a shame as there are more artefacts hidden among the ivy and bushes. One morning, I was unable to sit out due to flying ants. The main issue for me was showers turning cold whilst showering. This happened several times, not due to anyone else turning other tap on. Otherwise perfect stay. We would return if available.

All things considered a very good stay

The property is within a 10minute walk of Lord Street in a very quiet location

The decoration needs updating in places and the cleaners missed a number of cobwebs

Really cosy base in a quiet little street.

This was a really cosy and comfortable house in a great location. The outdoor seating area was a big plus. :-)

We did have some issues closing the connecting door to the living room and also the patio door.

A comfortable place to stay, easy to visit Southport attractions and surrounding areas.

A perfect location for visiting the area. We used the train to visit Liverpool and the Wetland Martin Mere. There are shops and good eating places close to the property. We liked having 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It is a comfortable, cosy place to stay. Easy to park.

Lovely Home from home stay

Home from Home feel. Comfy and clean. Quiet area and decent location. Good communication from owners and easy check in/out. A rental with character and charm. Excellent.

Smaller front bedroom double bed is very small and more like a three quarter bed size. It would not be big enough for two adults to sleep well in.

10/10 absolutely great accomodation, convenient to the high street with lots of cafes, shops.

Excellent accomodation, immaculately clean beautifully presented, loved the outdoor area. Heating was very efficient, great location few minutes walk to Lord Street. Very quiet and peaceful location. Great choice of books to read, only regret is that we didn't stay longer. 10/10 We will definitely be returning

Just a bit of advice if you have elderly people visiting the rugs may be a trip hazard, we just rolled the rugs up and put them to the side.

Very interesting actually,a lot of the ornaments x furniture looked like the owners have lived in africa maybe,the barbie in the back garden looked like a proper old smoker,i would of loved to use it,it was more or less central to everything we needed,a gorgeous tappas restaurant x pub nearby.there was milk x t bags in the fridge which was a nice touch

Handy location, a few minutes walk from town centre. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, homely and had a great nights sleep as the area was so quiet and beds were very comfortable. Better value for money than hotel rooms for our stay in Southport. Cannot fault this property at all

Well presented property, very clean & comfortable would stay again.

Great Location, house was clean and very comfortable. Facilities were excellent, there was milk in the fridge for us to have a coffee & Tea on arrival. The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped, one Bedroom had on-suite Shower room with toilet. House is beautifully presented and we would stay at this property again

No instruction on how to work the central heating, it got colder into the evening and we could not work out how the heating worked, it would be advisable to leave instruction on how to turn it on!
