The only thing we enjoyed in Drymades inn was the clear ocean water.

The manager was good and understanding when we said we were disappointed that every single beach club was packed up.

The property should have been clear on booking.com they at the start of October is NOT the right time to stay at Drymades. The place was deserted and no restaurants were open or bars. We were the only couple other than the odd one here and there walking along the beach. Also there’s too many developments and constructions going on. The manager understood our situation that we had traveled all the way from Australia and that we’re really disappointed so he refunded us the second night’s stay.

Overall, this place is worth the money payed but some changes could elevate the place, mainly service wise.

The place is designed beautifully. The view is amazing

The place has amazing potential however the hospitality and service needs improvement. There is no reception 24/7, the room wasn’t cleaned between the nights we stayed. Another weird thing is that when we came to eat breakfast the restaurant had the lights off and no one gave us service until we started asking. There are construction works all around the hotel which makes noise during the day, maybe because it’s not the popular season but it should be mentioned preorder. Some of the plates were chipped and broken at the restaurant which is an easy fix for an hotel at this level.

Location

Staff, food, room we received vs what was shown on the website. Booked a sea view room and got a room with a view of another room, see pictures of what was advertised vs what we got.

A wonderful and relaxing stay with amazing views, great service, and warm hospitality – we look forward to returning!

The staff were very kind and professional, especially Diyar who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was very good, the beach was beautiful and relaxing, and the room had stunning sea views. The location is quiet and peaceful, with convenient parking, which made everything easy.

Nothing significant – only wish we could have stayed longer.

Horrible service with a good location

Location is good, and the beach area with the sunbeds is also nice - especially at the beach bar.

The service is terrible - especially in the reception - when we arrived and wanted to check-in, they didn‘t even say hello or welcome us. Then they wanted to give us the worst room (with a view in front of a construction ongoing), only after complaining, they finally changed our room. Service in the restaurants is also questionably poor, you have to wait ages until someone takes your order or until food arrives and until you can pay. Waiters and general personnel seemed all untrained and inexperienced. Breakfast area was also simply a mess - no order - no cleaning - just completely random. Food itself was ok, but again not what you would expect from a hotel like this.

had to be better for the value of money we paid,

Breakfast was good but there is not many variety to choose between. We expected better to tell the truth. Special thanks to the manager of the beach since he found our lost phone and gave it back to us. It was a pleasant stay.

First night was terrible due to the fight and noises coming from the room next door, we called the reception but the situation did not changed. we had a sleepless night. The crib was sooo very uncomfortable. the baby refused to sleep in it all night due to the poor quality of the bed. the crib had no mattress and it was soo low it felt like the baby was sleeping in the ground. for this reason i had to sleep with my two kids on the king size bed and my husband slept on the sofa. You can imagine how was his sleep on a sofa... but we had no other choice.

To expensiv for what you get, its not even a 3star Hotel

only the breakfast was ok

The first room we received had a view of the sea including a construction site directly in front of the room, with loud machines, circular saws, and trash everywhere. We then requested a room change, which we got. However, the new balcony overlooked a filthy rooftop—absolutely not what you’d expect from a supposed 5-star hotel—and just a tiny glimpse of the sea. We did not enjoy the view at all, yet still had to pay over €350 per night. & the Bathroom was flooding! The Kymo Restaurant by the beach is an absolute joke—from the service (including the bar staff) to the HORRIBLE food. The menu desperately needs to be changed. You order shrimp pasta and get 1-2 pieces of shrimp….food is huge to tourism. SIGH. It’s unacceptable that this hotel claims to be 5-star, while the service, food, and overall experience are barely 1-star—a complete disaster. The hotel offers beach loungers, but the system is a mess. We had to argue with other guests because we apparently ended up on loungers that someone else had claimed. Many guests “reserve” their spots at 9 a.m. and don’t show up until 4 p.m. If you actually want a quiet, decent spot, you need to pay €50 per lounger—South of France prices! P.S. Just charge the amount to the credit card. The manager’s excuse that they “can’t” do it is a complete lie. It seems that 90% of guests were unhappy and demanded refunds after being charged—so now the hotel tries to avoid credit card payments altogether. I was forced to pay with a debit card. The security staff is also a joke. One day they recognize you, the next day they act like they’ve never seen you before. We bought drinks for the room and wanted to unload the car near the room. The bigger, slightly overweight security guard who was there Monday through Wednesday yelled at me and my wife and told us to “park your damn car in the parking lot.” We explained the situation—he denied everything. In the end, I had to carry everything from the parking lot—about 300 meters away.

I think they still have some way to go to make the extra effort around what great hospitality looks like. An example is that on day of check out you don’t have access to beach sun beds. It’s a beach resort what else are you to do if you don’t have to leave the hotel until 11am?

Amazing beach

We had a wonderful stay at Drymades Inn! The hotel’s location is truly amazing – surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant was excellent, both in terms of food quality and the view. The beach area was beautiful, with clean water and comfortable sunbeds. Our room was very comfortable and spotless, with great attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. All the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel at home throughout our stay. A special thank you to Renanto and Daniela at the reception for their kindness and professionalism. Drymades Inn is definitely a place we would love to return to!

It’s was amazing experience for us. The location of the hotel, restaurant, beach everything was amazing. It was really warm welcome at reception with drink and small cookies. We had really quick check in. Front office team was really helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back. We want thank to Diyar from reception he was really eager to help.

Horrible

Hi, when I booked this resort I was excited. But I looked on their actual website and said they would go open in May, meaning there is construction. I called them and said I didn’t want to come if there was construction. When I arrived the site is a building site, your car will be parked in the dust where people are working. Only part of the complex is finished and all complexes around are bare concrete and a building site you’ll hear the noise. Beach was also not finished at the time. Kitchen was dirty- I stayed one night and was promised a refund for my other 5 nights. Both booking and Drymades apologised and shared I would be refunded and I have been waiting since april

Totally misrepresented as a luxury villa & resort. This is an unfinished building project that is nowhere near ready

The photos tell a very different story to the reality. The villa is unfinished, on a building site with unhelpful, defensive and untrained staff. The location will be lovely, being directly on the beach but otherwise it’s simply not safe or ready for guests.

The arrival was the first issue - no signs to get there. The guest carpark is the construction site where the resort is still being built, so we initially thought we must surely be in the wrong place. A young boy came to meet us and we had to climb over concrete blocks and fences to get to reception. We were then told we have to pay immediately as they had problems with previous guests not paying. In reception there were glossy photos of the resort saying it was opening in 2025. We looked at the villa first and thankfully we did. While it’s trying to be a luxury villa and might be eventually, it was completely unfinished with snags all over the place. The aircon was dripping, wires hanging out everywhere, taps not fitting, cupboards falling apart, a big hole in the garden, building machinery outside the door, a wild dog in our garden, food and cigarette butts left on the terrace. We waited all day to speak to a manager who was extremely defensive and told us we could leave if we wanted but could only offer us an alternative away from the coast.

luxury villa with the worst service ever

We loved the villa, it’s really luxuriously built.

The service was so bad! The price is for Albania really high, so we expected amazing service. Unfortunately when we came to the room the second bad was not done. The worst part came when we wanted to sleep and two of the lights in the villa weren’t possible to turn off - we tried every switch in the villa like 30 times. We also tried to reach the reception but without an answered. When we adressed the problem the next morning, the staff answered they don’t run shifts during night, which is ridiculous in a 5 star resort with villa which costs over 900€ per two nights. Next terrible thing was the breakfast - from the choices through the presentation and lack of variety. I would love that the owner sees this review because he truly has built a beautiful place to stay, but it’s all destroyed by the staff which is not educated to provide quality service. Literally kids where carrying our luggage.. We wanted to speak with the manager but nobody showed up.. I think you get the view. Definitely not expect the service which should be in this price range.

Hôtel Récent mais déjà délabré, le déjeuner étais décevant, tout est bancal, pommeau de douche, pas de produits de douche (la femme de ménage a oublié d’en remettre) Le personnel semble vous éviter afin de ne pas avoir à vous rendre service … autant les serveurs de la plage que les autres Un plan de l’hôtel dans la chambre aurait été un plus

Decepcion completa

Caro para lo que ofrece. Servicio muy malo, no es que nos trataran mal pero no saben de nada y no son serviciales. Desayuno pesimo. El wifi funciona mal. La habitacion estaba con remates aun por terminar. La mitad del hotel estaba en obras pero te cobran como si estuviese funcionando 100%. Cobran precios de sitios de primer nivel siendo un sitio que le falta mucho para llegar a ser un sitio premium.

Emplacement magnifique, plage très propre. Très belle infrastructure.

Des améliorations à faire pour le personnel de la réception qui n'est pas du tout agréable. Et je trouve que le prix est beaucoup trop excessif pour la qualité des prestations qu'ils offrent! Le matin il fallait attendre qu'ils préparent le café, et nous n'avions jamais de café pour le petit déjeuner à 8h30!

• Die Zimmer waren riesig – einfach top! Viel Platz, sehr komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. • Das Meer war glasklar – perfekt zum Schwimmen und Entspannen. • Das Restaurant war zwar etwas teurer, aber das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker – absolute Empfehlung! • Insgesamt ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Ich würde definitiv wiederkommen und die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

• Das Frühstück ließ leider etwas zu wünschen übrig – hier gäbe es noch Verbesserungspotenzial. • Man merkt, dass einiges noch in den Kinderschuhen steckt – manche Dinge sind noch im Aufbau. (Baustelle)
