Overall a pleasant one night stay and good value for money.

Nicely presented annexe very clean and tidy with everything you could need. The park area opposite is pleasant and it is just a 15 to 20 minute walk to the city. We were sent a list of do’s and don’ts with the key code message a day or so before our visit. There is also a very large folder of information once you get inside. No antenna for the TV but the WI-FI allows you to use BBC iPlayer and ITVx etc.

More of an observation than a 'didn't like' The high bunk style bed, although comfy, is maybe not recommended for older people and the two pairs of wooden steps to climb on and off with were a bit rickety and would benefit from being replaced with more solid metal ones. It would also be handy to have a small table next to the sofa to put your cuppa on when watching something on the TV rather than having to put it on the floor.

Lovely annex to stay in.

Lovely sized annex which myself, my partner and son stayed in. The third fold out bed was already set up nicely for us. It’s a lovely cosy place to stay. Was nice and clean! Actually bigger than I thought it would be! The bed is very high but has steps there to help get into, I actually liked the idea as storage underneath. Would recommend!

Lovely stay in a great location

Great location by a lovely park and really convenient to walk to The Halls for the gig we were in town for. Coffee and milk provided was a big plus!

The bed was a little uncomfortable - may help adding a mattress overlay but nothing that bad that it kept us awake

Lovely clean annex but requirements not met

Was in a nice area, right next to a lovely park. Had lots of useful utensils in the annex needed for cooking. Had a tv, washer, cooker, nice little bathroom.

When I originally made the booking, it stated there was one bed and one futon bed, I then confirmed I would like the second bed made up for our stay, to which the owner said they would. When we got there, there was one bed and a sofa that was just a normal sofa with a couple of decorative cushions, nothing extra made up, no blankets. So one of us ended up having quite an uncomfortable nights sleep as they essentially just slept on a sofa for the night, without a duvet or pillows, which is really disappointing as it was a nice place. We didn’t have time to mention this as we checked in and had to head straight back out to an event, had it of been for a longer length of stay or had we had more time we would have mentioned it.

Lyndsay was such a conscientious host and communication was excellent. The annex was clean, cosy and had lovely little touches like breakfast cereal, toiletries, and a kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need.
