It was convenient for the event I was attending at nearby Pendrell Hall.
The first impression was not good!! There was private parking but the access was very poor due to a massive pothole! My car "bottomed out" despite driveing over it very carefully!! The front of the property is a mass of weeds and crumbling brickwork, and the exterior door needs cleaning. I then discovered I'd been given the incorrect code for the keybox and couldn't contact the owner as both tel numbers were unavailable. I even messaged Booking .com.!! Eventually I got a text telling me the correct code. The owner did send a later text to apologise.
Once inside --the flat was clean but basic. The TV would not work to begin with --kept getting "no WIFI connection" message. However, that issue had resolved itself when I tried later. Unfortunately, despite having the corret password from the router, my laptop and tablet would not connect and "incorrect password" displayed every time I tried. It was very frustrating.
The property is close to a junction with traffic lights and the bedroom window overlooks commercial busunesses on the opposite side of the road. There is only a set of curtains - which makes it impossible to be in the room without closing them. There should be a venetian blind or something similar to provide a level of privacy when in the room. The bathroom could do with a blind too.
The information sheet needs updating--I never did find the ironongboard!!!
