Ecolodge Wellness Tilburg- jacuzzi- privé sauna en zwembad

This is a home-stay. I stayed in the house in an attic room. It is a large family home that is actively lived in by the family and has several rooms for guests, so it has a homely feel, and all comforts of a family home are available. You have full use of the kitchen and all other facilities including the outside pool and beautiful garden area, with a pool, plenty of seating and relaxation or hangout options. Bathroom and kitchen are are shared. Meals are not included, but you can make use of the kitchen freely on your own time. Coffee and other drinks are free if you don't overdo it. You are sharing a full home with both the family and other guests, so it important to take each other into consideration. This was my first experience at a home-stay, and it was very positive. I especially liked the social interactions with the family and other guests. We came during an Ayreon concert, and it was fantastic to spend time with other Ayreon fans, who where all staying at the house or the cabins outside. The family is very welcoming and hospitable and I spoke a lot with them. I am seriously considering staying here again, next time there is a concert.

Prices where quite steep, if you take 'hotel' type expectations about facilities and privacy as a basis. But these where last-minute prices.

De sfeer was heel fijn en de tuin was fantastisch! Het zwembad is heerlijk en lekker warm. Alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig en de host is ontzettend aardig!

Er was een klein misverstand over het gebruik van de jacuzzi en onder/rondom het bed was het was stoffig, waar vooral mijn partner een beetje last van had. Dit alles woog absoluut niet op tegen alle fijne aspecten!

mooie tuin met idd een zwembad en jacuzzi, dit is gewoon onderdeel van het huis en deel je dus met de bewoners. verhuurders zijn zeer vriendelijk.

Locatie is geen appartement, het is feitelijk een familie "cave" bij het huis waar ook een slaap plek in is gecreëerd. Tv in de keuken/living is nodeloos ingewikkeld en heeft geen toegang tot reguliere TV, mits je zelf een account hebt. In de living staat een grote pool tafel met een pingpong tafel erop. Tenzij je pingpongen erg leuk vind heb je hier niet veel aan, er is geen fatsoenlijke zit plek om te eten. Keuken is redelijk uitgerust, mis wel het vaatwas rekje. Badkamer is zeer krap en is eigenlijk de douche van de sauna. Er is een probleem met de riolering, riool lucht in de krappe badkamer is niet fijn. Er is wellicht een relatie met het water afvoer van het dak, de stank is ontstaan na een regenbui. Er is eigenlijk geen privacy, vanuit de huiskamer kan de verhuurder je zien en vice versa. De familie "cave" is onderdeel van de garage van de verhuurder, wand is slechts 1 plank dik dus gesprekken in de garage met anderen kun je woord voor woord volgen, activiteiten in de garage met kratten verslepen, tot 22:15, belemmeren vroegtijdig slapen. Bed is matig, je rolt naar het midden.
