Fantastic stay.just remember plenty duck food

Lovely lodge feels warm and cosy. There was myself my wife and our two young boys. Location is fantastic easy to get to and plenty of parking. 5 min walk into Aviemore. The lodge its self was rustic with all modern amenity’s French doors open to the decked area with seating looking over the river. (Remember duck food )Beds were very comfortable. Shower was really powerful and kitchen has everything you need. I’ll definitely be staying again. Brilliant communication with the host.

The most relaxing and pleasant week ever.

What an excellent property. So cozy and so homely. Me and my boyfriend had the best week ever in riverside lodge. The view every morning is incredible and the cozy lights at night. It was just perfect! The beds are so comfy, I slept like a log every single night. It was so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely try to book here again.

Great location, clean and well maintained.

The location was amazing. Loved sitting by the river, enjoying the Mallards 🦆. Very peaceful and a nice place to recharge! It had everything we needed and very well equipped.

This is the second time I have used this lodge I would totally recommend it.Everything is close by and the view is fantastic.We were here for a golfing weekend great location to play some great golf courses.

Great location overlooking the Spey. Easy walk to Aviemore centre and local facilities. Well placed for other attractions in the area.

We were a family group of 4 adults and felt that any more persons in the lodge would have made it rather cramped.

No wifi The house is very small. The bed are one on top of the orher with very small space. The shower is for small people only We had to take all the garbage and make all the dishes on check out

Great family holiday

Great location, very quiet and relaxing. Kids loved feeding the ducks and watching other wildlife from the lodge. The lodge is within easy walking distance of Aviemore Town centre and loads of activities around the surrounding area that can be easily accessed by driving or cycling or even walking if you wanted to. The lodge itself is cosy and has everything you need.

The bathroom is a little small, but there is not much you can do about that, just something you find in this type of accommodation, but we survived and everything else made up for it.

Is that river rising?

Great location, right by the river, kids were feeding ducks and pheasants every morning from the porch, deer were across the river feeding every day too. Very comfortable beds to sleep on. The site was very quiet when we stayed so felt like we had the whole place to ourselves!! Cooking and cleaning utensils already there so need to bring our own. The owner was very approachable and easy to contact, even when they're on holiday, so it was a pleasure and an easy stay. Highly recommended!!

Couple of snagging issues but nothing to cry about, bathroom, as expected, was very small so be careful you don't burn your bum on the towel heater!! Bathroom door lock isn't great and the carpet strip has screws that unfortunately stick out and caught a few feet. Again, nothing to cry about, great price compared to most and you're really only there to sleep so it was all good.

Fab location - would book again.

Location is an absolute winner. Hard to beat sitting on the balcony right next to the river with ducks wandering up to say hello. Also a short walk from Aviemore centre. This what I booked the property for and it delivered! Living and kitchen areas really good standard - had everything we needed and very cosy and comfy.

Shower cubicle is a bit odd - really good shower just in a slightly dated semi-bath thing. Space in the two smaller bedrooms is Very tight. No probs for my stay since there was just 3 of us. No Wi-Fi.

Great wee cabin, cosy, comfortable, super clean. Exactly what we were looking for.

We loved the location of the property. So lovely to sit in the morning and evening watching the ducks on the river. I really liked the fact that there is no wifi, my boys and I played card games and some other games we had taken with us, it was lovely, like we were reconnecting. The property is nice distance away from Aviemore, what I mean by this is that its close enough for you to walk into the town and far enough away that its lovely and peaceful.

I thought everything was great, no complaints. Everything had been though of, even down to some milk for when we arrived.

Great location in the heart of Aviemore

Location was great, right in the heart of Aviemore, just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. The cabin is set on the banks of the River Spey and the veranda has a lovely view across the river bank and surrounding countryside. Watching deer pass on the other side of the river bank was very relaxing. The cabin was very comfortable and clean and we are keen to return for another holiday there in the future.

Nice cozy location with everything needed for a short stay.

Being right beside the water was great. We were travelling with a young baby and older child so being beside the water suited us as we weren’t worried about safety. Everything we needed was there for a short stay and a travel cot was provided which helped a lot.
