The lodge was very well equipped with a lot of cooking utensils if you wanted to cook. The lodge was fine and cosy which was perfect for returning to after a wet and cold day exploring Aviemore. The kids DVDs, games and books were a very welcomed addition for entertaining the kids during the worst of the weather.
The park was quiet due to being just before the start of the season, and the little bar was good for a quick drink.
The location was great for exploring Aviemore. The river going past was good too, we found some ducks to feed which delighted my 22 month old!
There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the lodge!
If you’re wanting complete quiet, we did hear the train going past every 30 mins or so, but it never bothered us.
I would have loved to have found a little play park onsite as ball games weren’t allowed (understandably) but we ventured into Aviemore to find one as well as a soft play.

A really great cabin in a fantastic location.
It's a really cosy place to stay with everything you need. It is spotlessly clean with lovely bedding. This was our first cabin holiday on a site and it was lovely, you can see the river from the lounge windows. We went for the snow and it was magical. I'm sure we will return. Thank you!

Property was perfect. Cosy and clean. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Have already booked for the same time in 2026.
Very icy and slippy entering the property. This was the same across the holiday park. We did source some but it was frozen.
