A cosy, clean beautiful cabin in a great location.

A really great cabin in a fantastic location. It's a really cosy place to stay with everything you need. It is spotlessly clean with lovely bedding. This was our first cabin holiday on a site and it was lovely, you can see the river from the lounge windows. We went for the snow and it was magical. I'm sure we will return. Thank you!

A great option if you're looking for accommodation in Aviemore

The location of the lodge was great, right outside of Aviemore, but with everything at walking distance. It was also a great base to further explore the surrounding area. The layout inside the lodge was well thought through and it was more spacious than we expected. The sitting corner was spacious and comfortable. There was both a shower and also a bath (which the kids appreciated). The kids also very much appreciated the lego, which kept them entertained after we came back from our daily outings. In terms of amenities and kitchen equipment we found everything we needed to cook for ourselves. The beds were also comfortable. And the lodge itself was well cleaned (except for the plates and glasses)

The plates and glasses were dirty (fatty) which meant we had to wash everything before we could use it for ourselves.

Great location to reach the great outdoors and get into Aviemore. Really enjoyed our short break to Scotland.

Well equipped kitchen. Everything you need is there, even cling film. Sofa and main bedroom very comfortable. The chalet has been recently refurbished and decorated to appealing standard throughout. Consistent theme throughout. X2 bathrooms, always a bonus. Bed linen and pillows good quality. Very clean appartment. Located next to the river Spey. Easy accesss to drive in and out. Few restaurants/ pubs nearby to eat within walking. Local supermarkets have all you need. Great bakeries up the road in Aviemore. Bought some lovely pasties.

The second bedroom is beautifully fitted out. Not suitable for x2 adults, probably better for small children.

Comfortable with everything that we needed for a short stay. Location was excellent, waking distance to everything we needed and a short drive to activities

The twin room was too small for my two teenager siblings so we utilised the lounge! This worked fine.

Excellent stay

Beautiful location near the town. Comfy beds and plenty of room to move around. Tastefully decorated and plenty of DVD’s for the kids to watch before bedtime

Nothing we didn’t like about Cragganmore Lodge but the caravan park could do with a playground for kids. Luckily there’s a big one up at the McDonald’s Resort

Lovely comfortable lodge. Very clean. Really appreciated the toys and books for our daughter. Kitchen very well equipped.

Disappointed that the holiday park do not have recycling bins. Not a criticism of the property or hosts but if the holiday park.

Lodge situated in a holiday village. We enjoyed the quietness considering we were there in Feb/march. I assume it will be more lively in the spring/summer season . Good location to explore Cairngorm national park.

Twin bedroom is small and tight for 2 adults. TV System need upgraded. Parking space quite tight if there is a car next to us. Limit storage due to filling up with other stuffs

Cosy

It was very comfortable & lovely & warm. It was great for a couple & it's really nice having 2 toilets, one with a shower & the other with a bath.

The only issue was that we had heavy rain on the last night & the noise on the (metal?) roof made it difficult to sleep until I searched out my earplugs. After that it was ok.

Relaxing place to stay for someone tired of city hustle.

Excellent location with beautiful view. Excellent cycle routes around the location. Very quiet and so peaceful within the park. Would definitely like to stay again

Not much area for the kids to play outside within the park , however it was not much of an issue as we went for other activities outside of the park.

Great Lodge!

Very cute and fully equipped lodge with everything you may need for short stays..great location and close to aviemore high street/shops and restaurants. The property was clean and very cosy. Would highly recommend. It was a great stay!

The second room with the two single beds..beds were definitely a bit too small. Alsо , we just got lucky with the weather and it was scorching heat, property got too stuffy and hot day time. Hotter than outside so maybe some fans or AC would be good for summer time :) overall great stay!!

Disappointing due to unfortunate circumstances but property is lovely.

Location was perfect and inside was clean and decorated lovely for Christmas. Had family friendly items like kids stepping stool and cutlery.

The dishrack was filthy and needed cleaning before we could use it to wash our dishes. Although not the owner’s fault, it really made our stay uncomfortable as 2/3 days we stayed had problems. Day 1 we arrived and the pipes were frozen and we were without water for 1 day. With a toddler it just was not a great situation but owners offered to refund us any water we could purchase. The 3rd day we awoke at 2am as we were freezing, to find the unit had run out of gas. so we had no heating and no ability to cook our breakfast before checkout. The owners are not responsible for this and the park is, but still, it was just miserable. We had to wait until around 9am before someone came and checkout was at 10. We were able to get 1 hr late checkout but it was a mad dash. And we got 1 night refunded. If these extenuating circumstances didn’t happen then our stay would have been just fine and highly rated. Just unfortunate.

Liked the location,the cleaness of the lodge,and it was quite a big lodge with loads of extras like,2 coffee machines,microwave etc etc.

Wasn't keen on the check out time and also having to strip the beds ourselves,never had to do that while staying in any kind of holiday.

Cragganmore Lodge is good located opposite the river in quiet place. Super clean. Beds are very comfy. Hosts make your staying really comfortable with providing all needed stuff. We loved this place and highly recommended. Definitely will come back.
