Lovely area to stay, good cabins and would definitely come back.

Good location for us and nice and quiet. Liked the out-look around the cabin. Cabin was clean, warm and the beds were comfortable. And it was entertaining watching the ducks outside.

The single chairs in the living room in our cabin were not comfortable to sit on.

Lovely location and cute cabins. Kitchen is fully equipped and there was a good amount of space to hang out in the living room and deck area. The pond and the ducks made the stay a very memorable one for the kids.

Would have liked to have a washer at our cabin.

Amazing Place to Stay, Felt like a Fairytale

I liked that it had a very homely feeling. I felt comfortable in my stay, and whenever I wasn't able to go out, the Retreat provided several pastime facilities, like a TV with Disney+, Xbox and books as well. Furthermore, the area where the lodges were situated was very peaceful, in a forest with a pond and several ducks moving around it - making it feel like a sanctuary. The staff were also very nice and were quick to respond. I had an issue with accessing the streaming service on the TV, and a staff member immediately came and sorted out the issue. They also answer phone calls and WhatsApp messages. The lodge was very clean and very organised and ready for stay when we came.

I loved everything, there was nothing to hate.

Wonderful, convenient and peaceful location

Wonderful location surrounded by woodland and looking out onto a pond with ducks and their ducklings yet an easy walk into the shops and facilities of Carrbridge, All the furniture and equipment I needed for a comfortable stay. Very peaceful

The duvet was too hot for me and there was no alternative bedding available. Fortunately I had my own as I was travelling by car and have come across this problem before. If I didn't bring my own alternative bedding it could ruin a holiday for me.

The location was perfection for our planned week of activities, not only for adults but the children also...what a wonderful place to visit and stay at, we made some beautiful memories staying here, thank you.

A lovely Scottish retreat

A lovely quiet place, very comfortable and well equipped lodges, close to Aviemore and the hills, and with fun bike trails on the doorstep. The duck pond is lovely, and there was lots of wildlife around, including a woodpecker! The on-site bike hire was a cherry on the cake. Local amenities include a pub, cafe, a petrol station and a shop (Spar)

The rooms were lovely and spacious. Kitchen was well kitted out for self catering. The location was fantastic and it was lovely and quiet.

Quality family time in lovely surroundings in a lodge that was clean, cosy and comfy

We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend. Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco in our lodge, well equipped- we had every thing we needed. My dogs and children loved exploring the area, the park had lovely surroundings and the fireworks at New Year were a lovely touch.

No faults to comment on - looking forward to going back

Cabaña perfecta para pasar desde una estancia corta hasta una algo mas larga. Equipada con todo lo necesario. Cocina equipada con todo lo necesario: cocuna, horno, microondas, hervidor de agua, tostadora.... habitaciones muy cómodas. Todo muy nuevo y reformado. Absolutamente tranquilo.

Prachtig huisje in een prachtige omgeving!

Wat een heerlijke plek, zo tussen de bomen bij een meer (zonder muggen!) in de volledige rust. Met wat eenden voor de deur, die het geheel (ook voor de kinderen) nog extra opleukte! Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, heeft zelfs een bad, en naast de woon/keuken-kamer nóg drie slaapkamers. Leuke wandelroutes in de nabije én iets verdere omgeving

La localisation, l'esprit chalet à l'orée de la forêt.

Chalet vieillissant (nommé Pinewood) : humidité, paroi de douche/baignoire qui laisse passer l'eau, vieilles huisseries Peinture du chalet non terminée. Literie 2 places a revoir.

Heerlijk rustig verblijf op bijzondere locatie in het dorp.

Wat een leuk huisje op een kleinschalig ingericht terrein met 5 andere huisjes. Ontzettend rustig, met een vijver in het midden met nogal wat eenden, die goed opgevoed zijn en niet komen bedelen. Het huisje bood veel ruimte, we konden alle spullen makkelijk kwijt en er is ook nog een veranda bij. We hebben het erg naar de zin gehad!

De banken bij de keukentafel zitten niet erg comfortabel. Wij hebben de tafel dwars tegen de muur gezet, dat gaf wat meer ruimte. Verder was alles prima in orde.

Quatre nuits enchantées

L'environnement est fantastique : au bord de forêt, avec un plan d'eau, des canards, lapins, écureuils... Magique ! L'équipement est réduit mais l'essentiel y est. Le lieu est confortable et répond à nos attentes. Excellente étape dans notre tour d'Ecosse. Le village est très proche, avec un bar / restaurant intéressant.

Hele fijne accommodatie op een rustige plek, met alle faciliteiten om de hoek.

De cabin was fantastisch! Steven en zijn gezin hebben duidelijk veel werk gestoken in het opknappen. De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij hadden erg geluk met het weer, maar ook als het slecht weer is, is er genoeg te doen; er zijn spelletjes en zelfs een Xbox. Ook de omgeving is prachtig; midden in de Highlands, vlakbij Aviemore. Ook onder andere Inverness, the Culloden Battlefields en Loch Ness zijn makkelijk te bereiken. Tip; ga vooral eten in het restaurant van hotel The Cairn. Heerlijk gegeten!
