Myflats Luxury Old Town

It was close to beach and old town. Perfect location. Lovely powerful shower. Fantastic air conditioning - we were there in August. When the hair dryer broke the guys bought a new one To our apartment within 30 mins. We didn’t doing any cooking but Lovley kitchen and coffee machine. Good size fridge and freezer.

Excellent location right in the city centre and the Old Town, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short walk away. The beach is only five minutes away on foot, making it very convenient. The hosts were helpful, and helped arranged a taxi for us on the morning of our departure. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The online check-in requirement was a little inconvenient but we discussed and completed the check-in process on arrival. It would also be nice to have soap in the bathroom. We needed to contact the host by email to arrange cleaning, as we were told that fresh towels and bed linen were available every three days. And one small remark, there’s no separate bedroom , actually it’s one common space, just to have in mind if you’re four people. In our case it was Ok as we were family 2 adults and 2 kids. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our experience. These were only minor points, and we would still recommend the apartment.

Stellar location. Right in old town- walking distance to great restaurants, very safe., 1 block to the beach. Beach umbrellas were nice to have. Washer and dryer on site was nice however the dryer was ineffective- thankfully unit had clothes drying rack.Upon arrival unit was spotlessly clean, EXCELLENT air conditioning and great hot water/pressure in the shower. Very comfortable bed. Close to elevator up to the historic site on the cliff.

A few additional things would elevate the experience- minor but small annoyances add up. For example- no wine opener. It’s Spain with great wines. We bought one and left it in the unit. Same thing with beach towels. We could’ve used the white ones from the unit but didn’t want to stain them- so we bought beach towels. A word of caution for visitors- check the a calendar of local activities when booking. Coincidentally we were there during the June 24th St. John festival. This building is ground zero for city centre festivals- which can be lovely (we enjoyed it) but also LOUD. We had 3 nights of party central- music til 4am. And 1 night after was extremely peaceful and quiet. Like 2 different places. If you aren’t aware this could be surprising. My biggest criticism is the advertising of a secure luggage storage service if you have a later flight than check in. We were aware it was about a 10 minute walk away. That was not the issue. Upon arrival at the other building we were instructed where to store our bags in the basement and given a code to access the “secure room”- downstairs we found chaos. Door wide open, no staff present and dozens of people in the room (going through presumably their own luggage contents, changing shoes/clothing)Luggage was just to be placed on shelves. Basically NOT secure and a literal free for all. We turned around and left with our bags. We ended up finding a paid locker facility for 12€ and felt it was far more secure.

Had to wait a hour for flat to be cleaned. Towels threadbare. No bowl or plug in kitchen sink. No instructions for tv or appliances. No additional pillows for bed.
