Goldmine Guest House 2

Great location, we took the waterbus from the airport and it stops very close to Goldmine, maybe a city block to walk with your luggage. Called the Host on What's App when we got off the waterbus and were able to leave our luggage there early before our check in time. Very helpful.

The host had excellent communication. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and it was in a good location for walking to both San Marco Piazza and the train station.

The location was perfect. Clean and comfortable, wish we had stayed for more than one night. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to Como S. Giovanni station. A quick walk to Como ferry and the lakefront.

Only wish we could do early luggage drop, but understand why.

The guesthouse's location was great. It was very easy to get there from the terminal via Vaporetta. Compared to the chaos in the city center, it was quite a quiet place. Plus, there were nice places to spend time nearby. Alilaguna, which we used to get to the airport, was also very close. Transportation was very convenient. Read the unlikes also.

The room was small. The bed and especially the pillows were very uncomfortable. There were no slippers. There were no foot towels. And most importantly, the idea of ​​an "external bathroom" was terrible. If I have to leave my room to use the bathroom, it doesn't really have a private space. I'm the only one using the bathroom, but I have to pass through a shared area to access it. If it's advertised as private, access to the bathroom should definitely be from inside the room. Dealing with the locks on the bathroom and the room was very annoying.
