Smartr Madrid Gran Vía 47 is a solid retreat for active dynamic tourists and visitors seeking a central, short stay in Madrid. Its location is good, offering direct access to major sights and transit.
Pros:
• The central location is truly excellent for exploring the city.
• The breakfast provided was high-quality and very satisfying with a nice view of the city.
• Reception staff were friendly, helpful, and comfortably multilingual.
Cons:
• My specific room was very small and felt quite cramped.
• Outside street noise occasionally filtered into the living space.
• The bed could be better
Overall, it is a convenient "home base" if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring the city.
