Overall, the hotel left a positive impression: a beautiful lobby, pleasant atmosphere, and a good breakfast. The service was also appropriate.
However, the room was disappointing. In my opinion, it does not match the photos on Booking and certainly does not feel like the advertised 25 sq. m. In reality, the room was very small and not cozy. The layout is particularly unfortunate: as soon as you enter, the bed is placed right by the entrance, and your feet are almost against the window. In the photos, the bed is positioned differently (parallel to the window), which creates a completely different sense of space.
There were also some issues with the fittings: the towel holder kept falling off, and the TV was placed on a stand rather than mounted on the wall, which takes up extra space and looks untidy.
Overall, it feels like this particular room is quite different from what is shown in the photos. I understand that hotels can have different layouts and room types, but this option clearly does not meet expectations for a hotel of this level.
I would also like to note that I have stayed in Meliá hotels several times before (including 4-star properties), and the rooms there were significantly more spacious, comfortable, and visually cleaner. Here, the room felt more like a very compact and poorly organized space.
