When we arrive we were told there was no food available in the evening because of staff shortages. Ok, we will walk into town to eat. Room a good size and clean although the sink and bath need replacing.The next morning was the most confusing. No fried, poached or boiled eggs available, only scrambled, yes I know I can't think this one out either. No hash browns because they the did not have a deep fat fryer working, put them on the griddle with the bacon and sausages would be easy. Pool, sauna and spa all very nice. For the price this was not top value, did give us a free drink as compensation though.Still can't work out why they couldn't cook a poached or boiled egg.

The kitchen had an issue with Gas supply so a limited service was in for dinner and breakfast the following morning. The room I stopped in didn’t have a proper shower. Only had a bath with a hand held shower head. I would stay again because hopefully I will have a different room with a proper shower and kitchen will be up and running fully. The gym and swimming pool facilities are nice and staff are friendly

I love the yoga class and the pool. Staff are excellent, especially Tracey (i think) on reception. The menu is also very good and all the food is freshly cooked. Everything perfect

The staff made this an 11/10 experience. Every single person was so friendly, welcoming, helpful, and informative. Other than that, it was a solid stay, comfortable, quiet, I really enjoyed the spa facilities and the food was well presented if somewhat limited in choice (not great for the vegans tbh).

A small lodge on a golf course. I suspect this might have been the club house before a very good new facility was built. Perfectly adequate for a two night stay near in centre of Bournemouth. 15/20 minute walk to pier through Winter Gardens. Fairly basic but comfortable room. Shower over bath very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent substantial cooked breakfast kept us going all day. I would stay here again, but perhaps not for a 'special occasion'.

We had an enjoyable stay at The Lodge that's set next go the golf course in peaceful surroundings. The room was clean, large and comfortable. We took advantage of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and inviting. I'd fully recommend..

I like the place because it’s was very quite The only thing l dislike was the way the room was cleaned We ordered our food for the evening in the afternoon when we were going to the beach When we came back we didn’t find our food and we were so hungry I think when they are cleaning they have to throw rubbish in the bin not customers things they found on the in the room

It was such a pleasure arriving here, the check in staff are so lovely, always happy to help and accommodate. The beach and town centre are a quick walk from the lodge, just under the underpass. The facilities are lovely, well kept and it's easy enough to pop to reception for extra coffee. We went for a swim, where they offer free use of towels and lockers, it wasn't too busy when we visited, which was lovely. We also noticed a distinct lack of children, which was a bonus we didn't necessarily expect

We loved the quaint nature of this lodge, nestled in the golf course. You do have to be prepared to drive up a small hill and parking can be quite tight but it’s well worth it for such a spotless and modern room which provided a really comfortable stay. Very easy to check in and out and you get the option to use the spa and gym facilities as adults. A perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth but close enough to walk into town (it’s downhill so good footwear needed).

This stay was good value for money. Great amenities and room apart from the plug sockets; there were only 2 plug sockets and they were located inside the wardrobe which meant you couldn't be on the phone whilst charging, not end of the world but if you need to charge more than 2 items at once you may be out of luck. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Only other down side is swimming times for families is between 3pm and 7pm which isn't ideal for children. But other than that, a great stay for those interested in golf and those not interested in it.

We stayed for 3 nights. The lodge we stayed in was clean and adequate in size. The food in the restaurant was lovely as. The pool facilities were good. The main resin it was an excellent stay was the staff. They were all, whether main reception, cleaners or bar staff, so friendly and could t do more to help.

Accommodation was a separate building from the facilities which was lovely and quiet. Easily walkable to town and beach. Good spa facilities although a big slippery staircase to the pool. However disabled chairlift available. Good breakfast

As soon as we arrived the staff where very welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was extremly comfortable. It was my friends birthday. When we got into our room there was a birthday card and vouchers for the bar in our room. Which i though was a lovely touch. The tapas food at the bar/resturant was lovely. Recommeded place to stay for a welcoming vibe and chilled trip to Bournemouth

Would highly recommend The Lodge. The staff were excellent - really helpful. We ate in the restaurant and again can only sing the praises of the chef for a lovely meal. Only stayed one night but would loved to have stayed longer and made use of the pool.

All staff very friendly. The quality of the food was really good and had a good snd varied choice. Breakfast good. Clean pool and spacious gym. Lodge was extremely clean and tidy. Our room was spacious although i believe that the standard rooms are a tad on the small side. A little noisy at night as it was close to the A338 but to be honest you didnt really notice it. We didnt play golf on this occasion but we had a pleasant stay nonetheless. Would recommend.
