Beautiful hotel in a very picturesque setting. We loved the view on the Chambord castle. The wait staff were very friendly and always accommodating. The front reception team (except for the lovely girl who checked us into the hotel) were very cold and never greeted the guest. Overall charming hotel!

Our room was lovely, plenty of space. The outside area had a view of the chateau and at night it was beautiful spot to relax.

Amazing staff, that explained the property. The room was nice but the twin beds are pushed together- like a king. The toilet is separate with no sink, so to wash hands you have to walk through the bedroom- there is no door to the shower area, fyi if you’re traveling with friends. The hotel is on the estate grounds and you can walk around at night. We got the best photos after the crowds left.

Could not beat the location, absolutely stunning. Our room was also top drawer.
However, dinner was mediocre, waiting staff were poorly trained. Breakfast was poor, again few staff, not attentive and food choices were very limited. I had to chase 3 times to order a simple omelette and it was not busy or peak season.
Overall beautiful setting which promised highly but service did not deliver and certainly not aligned to the price paid
