The quality of the breakfast was excellent and the conservatory where it is served had good ambience. It was a lovely big comfortable room.
We stayed here partly because it had a restaurant on site which we were fully prepared to use every night of our stay but they were unwilling to even consider accommodating a vegetarian in any way so we were forced to drive into Blois every night to eat, which was quite a way and definitely not desirable. The supply of the advertised tea and coffee in the room was mean and initially they were most reluctant to supply tea as advertised, telling us that they were afraid we would spill and stain the carpet. We found the house rules somewhat authoritarian, "forbidding" food and drink in the room for example. In our experience of staying in French chateaux the offered services were not comparable with other 4 star chateaux.
