A lovely hotel in rural France, perfect for visiting chateau Chambord.

For a small hotel in a rural French village, the hotel was a huge pleasant surprise. The staff were very welcoming, the hotel was extremely clean, at a very high standard, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Although there is no on site restaurant, the menu of snacks meals was good enough and the quiches were delicious. There was good storage for our bicycles and pleasant gardens.

Honestly, nothing not to like from our perspective.

Quality and comfort in a small village

This gem of a place is clean, comfortable, modern, and really well taken care of by its owners. The team are welcoming and helpful, helping us find a restaurant as we were late to book anything. It’s close to Chambord if you want to visit the castle, as well as other activities in the area. It’s bike friendly and offers chilled, filtered water for free to all guests (bring your own bottle, they try to avoid single use plastic). Breakfast set us up we’ll for the day.

- Nice room - Perfectly soundproofed (I'm a light sleeper and in other hotels often woken up by sounds from the corridor or doors slamming, but in this hotel even when awake didn't hear a sound) - Drinking water fountain in the lobby (they lend free bottle during your stay) - Decent breakfast

The friendly host, excellent recommendations, and all the little extra touches from the amazing body wash and shampoo to the coffee machine to the velvet chairs and nice porch area. It was easy being a traveler from abroad in this place, and a wonderful experience for my husband and I.

Very nice hotel close to the Château de Chambord. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are amazing, very comfy beds, nice bathrooms and very nicely furnished. Good breakfast buffet.

The only downside was that there was basically no dinner (as it was Sunday, when apparently nothing is open in France) - but the hotel had some pre-pepared dinners that they could warm up, which was really helpful.
