Parking was good we had trailered our motorcycle. Assigned an older room it was clean bed comfortable. Had a small "Speakeasy" Live entertainment was very good, Was told at check-in to place used towels on chair outside motel room as early as possible in the mornings We had a six night stay booked we placed towels outside each morning as requested but when we returned each afternoon/evening dirty towels still in that chair and no fresh towels. Front desk mostly unattended that time of day had to telephone a number posted on office door! Breakfast service not staffed/serviced well cold coffee

Cute Retro decor, very clean, everything we needed except there could have been more plug ins for electronics. Parking right in front of our room was great. Bathroom was very clean but could use an update. We would stay here again.

Clean room but pathecially bad furnishings. Bed stand might have been high enough decades ago but now higher beds so stand too low; Beds had something under sheet that crinkled loudly with any movement; really bad, limited lighting in room, nice table in corner but no light and no nearby socket to plug in light; drawer stand low, TV on stand so low it's difficult to watch from bed; no space for toiletries in bathroom; closet space just outside bathroom was big - space to put cabinet / stand to put stuff but nothing. Only one plugin per wall. Room being so poorly appointed reflects complete lack of understanding nor care of how to make a room comfortable and convenient.

Hand held shower head was extra nice, most of the room was clean but your socks reveal the floor needs mopping. Beds comfy, walls are thin, and close to a busy road so there's traffic noises. No room for toiletries in the bathroom and a hook on bathroom door would be helpful. But still good enoughfor the price

Authentic vintage roadside, pet friendly, motel experience. The rooms are very much as they were when built originally (my guess is 50's). Nothing fancy but everything a practical person needs. My room was clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. They did great giving us an early check-in. Additionally, there is a back yard to this place, with chairs and a creek. It is awesome. My dog and I really enjoyed our time in and beside the creek. I'd definitely stay here again.

The safety Lock on door was busted, tv wouldn’t come on, bed was hard and squeaky, continental breakfast was toast, coffee was good, cute room attire. Extra shower fixtures in shower. The air conditioner was behind curtain main window Couldn’t feel it. Curtains come apart with full view of bed. Close to all attractions and food.

We had a fantastic time at Meadowlark. We stayed in the pool most of the week. It was the perfect size and depth. There are a lot of trees and shrubs around the pool so it can’t be seen from the road or parking lot at all. It feels private. The Speakeasy is the best hangout in Maggie Valley. Its vibe can’t be matched. The rooms are cozy and the location is ideal for your stay in Maggie Valley. Definitely recommend.

The two ladies were very nice at check in. It's quiet, clean, bed was comfortable, dine in options. Big back yard and creek out back. Pet friendly. The grounds well maintained. Had an issue with water pressure/ hot water first evening. Maintenance was called. They made sure we had another room for hot shower. Next day in our room water was fine and good to go. Would definitely stay there again.

I've stayed a few times now. What I like most about it is the picnic and setting area out back. It gets you away from the traffic noise and has a canopy and fire pit at the creek. The canopy area needs attention but it's still nice. The restaurant has a good menu. It took a while to get out food but it was worth the wait. Rocking chairs and table at the front door of the rooms. Staff is super friendly and attentive. We stayed during the biker rallys each time. So it's a bit more expensive than regular stays. Can't speak for everyone but bikers like it. They will give you rags if needed and let you put your bike under the canopy

The property is unique with a lot of interesting artwork and a one of a kind restaurant and speakeasy. The room we stayed in was a bit small and the in window air conditioner was located behind the curtains so we had to pin them up to get the full effect of the cooling system

We had a very nice stay with our 2 dogs. It is great to have a motel option that allows us to travel with the pups. Grounds were excellent to walk them. While the motel is obviously older they keep it clean and tidy. The bed was comfy and love the retro fridge and microwave.
