No stay and no refund

The staff kept apologizing and she said she would refund my money...but they never would

I never got to stay ....they let me book on line on 10/10/25 and when I got there they said there was no rooms available BUT they sure debited my credit card for 188.81 . I understand mistakes can happen but then a month later Castlewood would not refund my money. Gave me the runaround and I had to dispute thru my credit card! Bad business all around.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied..

No breakfast

Place outside room, very dirty, I sent in a list of all that was bad, already..I realize that some places were being worked on, but the room we stayed in was not rent ready, no toilet paper holder, toilet seat very very loose, transition between bathroom and other room was missing, ptac, a/c unit, was nasty, and not working right, entrance door had large crack, where door wasn't sealed tight to seal..tub drain wasn't right, sink drained slow, t.v. was shot, could barely watch, small windows above ptac, wouldn't lock...we paid over $500, for 4 nights and were very disappointed, did not live up to our exspectations...we travel a lot, this was the worst stay, in thousands of miles traveled...

Bed was comfortable and ok place to sleep.

Property was being renovated. Room was just renovated and some thing were not completed. Jacuzzi tub would not go off and needed to change rooms. Room had a least 6 beetles that I needed to kill. Outside was still in disarray from renovation.

It smelt like mold an the condensation on the bottom of the air conditioner and you could smell electricity burning made did not pick up trash. I’ll bring enough towels just an awful experience.

Great place

I loved the mountain view. Location was great very easy to get to all shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating. Our microwave didn't work i called the front desk and they were spot on. It was only a few minutes they had us another one. We enjoyed our stay it was our 2nd time staying there.

pleasantly surprising

the room was newly renovated, carpet clean, conditioner was old but working fine. New TV, chairs and so on. Overall, pleasant and very clean and safe.

few small things, like there were 2 WIFI network to connect and only one worked (took some time to figure that out), no exhaust in the bathroom but there is a small window with a nice view of the greenhouse (very private window, no one can look into it! so its not a concern)...

Not fancy, but everything I need in a motel

The motel is close to the ski resort, affordable, reasonable about bringing pets, clean, comfortable, the staff was friendly, and there is a coffee shop across the street.

The room was freezing when we entered and the heating unit was set at 74 and did not heat the whole room only the area around the unit and I slept cold the entire night.

The inside matters

The room was updated a bit and clean which made the stay very pleasant. Close to the slopes and good value for double bed.

The stairs to the upper level were slick and steep which made it a bit harder when walking up and down with luggage.

As long as the bathroom isn't an issue for you, it is a descent place to stay.

The beds were comfortable and it was a nice place to rest.

The bathrooms were not good. We had two rooms and there was mold in the grout of both tubs and not a little bit! The grout in other areas was falling out. The toilet in one room was wobbly and the bathtub faucet was off. My daughter's room didn't have running water in the sink as well as having mold. I also did not like that there was a mattress just leaning against the outside of the building.

I am handicapped. I requested a handicapped room. I received an email stating that they would accommodate my needs. Upon arrival, no handicapped room available. I could not shower for 3 days. Had no daily cleaning of room, had no replenishment of supplies, drink machine out of order, front desk could not answer questions, front desk closed a lot.

Didn’t appreciate attitude toward someone in a wheelchair. The mattresses were good to sleep on.

No breakfast was offered. Told the receptionist my husband was in a wheelchair. He put us in front of the stairs. Awkward trying to get in and. Bathroom door was so narrow we couldn’t get the wheelchair in nor the walker would like to see a bar put up to hold onto to sit on the toilet. It was very low. The ac didn’t seem to be accurate worth the temperature and it was hard to get into the bed up aganist the wall

Not a bad place to stay, as you could do worse in the area for the price. But you could also do better for the price.

The pool was great, the location is perfect.

They are very stingy with the towels, and the toilet paper they provide is very thin and loosely wrapped, so we had to buy our own. The turn out from the motel parking lot onto the main road is obstructed, so it makes it a bit of a gamble when pulling out.
