Thought i was booking directly with the best western but was thru Hotels.com, the switched the dates for ck in and when i arrived they said it wasn’t till next week my res. Because it was thru hotel.com a 3rd party i was out my entire money i paid. Not happy

The room was ok! Nothing great or special. It is close to main road so unless you sleep through anything or bring a sound machine, you hear traffic all through night. The curtains do not cover entire window to block outside lights, so if you like total dark to sleep, that will not happen. No elevator if on second level. Other than those things, all was good. Beds were comfortable and room clean.

Check in staff just looked at me when i entered. Didnt stand or greet me. Refridgerator in room was frozen over. Was told they'd defrost it next day. Instead brought a smaller fridge which i agreed was fine. But the maintenance cleaned it with so much sanitizer that we couldnt use it because of the smell. Front desk lady tried to wipe it clear of the smell. Didnt work. Told the front desk man. He just shrugged. Bathroom floor was not clean. Check out morning we had no hot water. Dissapointing stay.

So first of all, the best thing was the mattress the worst things were the shower was moldy. There was no hot water at all our entire stay, and the hairdryer did not work at all. Breakfast was cold what there was of it and the poor girl who was running the front desk, didn’t speak very good English. She was a foreign girl, and I certainly appreciate her. However, she was just like abandoned by the owner or manager person.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Parking was adequate. Breakfast included a wide variety of items to choose from: waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, juices, coffee, teas, cereal, yogurts, etc.

Did not honor my request. My 86 year old father had to walk up and down steps to the second floor after I called and was guaranteed a first floor room. Have stayed here for years and I guess we will go somewhere else.

The gentleman that checked us in was not friendly, would not return greeting, and mumbled in low voice, couldn't understand most of anything he said. All the "important" things were very clean, bed & pillows comfortable. Liked the window beside vanity mirror for lighting, as we know hotels never have adequate lighting for getting ready at the mirror. Bed, table & counter surfaces, sink, tub, toilet all appeared very clean, no bed bugs were apparent (I always check). But other things could use a good scrubbing - the window shade slats on the window next to the mirror were thickly corroded with dust, the bathroom floor and wide crack between the baseboard and door frame, both behind the bathroom door, had not been cleaned in awhile. The crack was filled with spider/cobwebs, and floor behind door is not being swept and mopped. Housekeeping needs to close door when cleaning bathroom floor so they can see behind door. We enjoyed the rocking chairs and the mountain view from the front balcony, but not the spiders in numerous spider webs along the balcony and other outside areas. With just a little bit of TLC this could be a perfect place to relax in this beautiful little part of the world.

Mold in bathroom and old technologies. I had to change rooms and buy detergent to clean before using the bathroom and other things. This is not what you want to do when you are looking for relaxation. Unbelievable that I had to clean myself to feel more comfortable.

Room was really clean and the beds were comfortable and the check in staff were excellent. But I felt like the carpet was dirty based on the way my socks looked after walking around. It’s probably true in a lot of hotels, but it’s why I couldn’t give five stars.

This hotel was clean and very adequate for our limited needs. It does show some wear and tear in places. And for some reason the water is weird. I would expect to find hard water in the mountains. But instead the water is like a hotel at the beach where it won't let shampoo lather up and feels like it isn't washing the soap off.
