The staff tried their best to make our stay more pleasant.

The laundry service was SO handy, except I needed to pay $2 more for an additional 10 minutes drying time. The man at the desk was kind about checking out a better view for EVERY available room on the second floor which might be better. The beds were comfortable and had decent pillows -- NOT our experience in the other places we stayed before arriving here.

My husband is a landscape photographer. I mistakenly thought the accommodations would provide us a view of the woodlands behind the place as demonstrated in the photo in their ad AND that they were cabins, not a motel. Our first room looked out on the parking lot. The room we ended up in had some trees but a huge waste water pipe in what would have been our photo op out the window. This section of Maggie Valley was crowded, tacky, and totally NOT what we were expecting. We left a day early.

The 1st floor hallway on the pool side smelled really strong of cigarette smoke. The hot tub was out of service. The indoor pool cold.( the main reason I chose this hotel!)

The location is great!!!!

The trailer parking that gave us no parking spots and the fact that they almost hit several of our cars the guy yelled at me when I told him to stop he was gonna hit our cars. It clearly states on the door no trailer parking but still the front desk guy said there’s nothing he could do about it.

Same thing offered each morning, pre-made pre--frozen little omelets, waffles which I don't eat, brown and serve sausages that were not browned. You could have toast except the one four slice toaster only worked on one side. Ended up going out for breakfast since we stayed for five days. Oh, the coffee was good.
