The room was pleasant but extremely hot. The air conditioning unit didn’t work and on one window opened. When the shower was on the whole room was like a sauna

Stayed for one night whilst working in the area. All the hotel staff were very pleasant ,friendly and welcoming. The room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom along with good WIFI connection. The food in the bar / restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced. The cooked to order breakfast was very nice too.

Stay here often with work, staff lovely rooms always comfortable and clean. Can’t fault the place.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Room 18 was incredibly hot & I was kept awake by a generator or some such noise outside my room even with the windows closed. I preferred the courtyard room I stayed in last time & will ask for this in future.

Room a little tired, could do with an update. Bed mattress rock solid and pillows very heavy/uncomfortable. AC unit in room but no cold air, by morning it was blowing got air even though it was default setting (couldn't change it) was 3 degrees.

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Tamworth, great breakfast and fantastically helpful and friendly staff. We love staying here, free parking is an added bonus.

We stayed here for a family reunion party ! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the customer service excellent! Food was fabulous ….definitely recommend and would visit again

Great location for my event, but this hotel needs a refresh. Room is very dated and was extremely hot. Couldn't open a window and a fan was not available. Shower wouldn't stay at a usable temperature.

Room is clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Bathroom facilities are excellent. The restaurant, Christopher's, is superb. Wonderful food, chef and staff.

Overnight stay for work and found this little gem.in Tamworth. Really cosy and friendly. Great hostess very helpful.

Nice courtesy call on our way there to check wecwere still coming due to poor weather. Room was perfect and had everything we needed. Breakfast not included for us but was competitively priced. Lovely helpful staff too. We stayed 2 nights and our room was serviced in between. No problems here.

Clean and easy access. Bed mattress could be improved.

Room smelt of stale smoke even though it was a smoke free room.

Great place if you want to cater for yourself . Kitchen is well fitted with cooker, microwave,fridge freezer and washing machine very clean and nice and warm . Cafe downstairs which is used for breakfast was only open a few days a week in the evening so i didn't use it. Limited tv reception but good wifi Only one issue came back late one night and the gate to parking and accom was closed. but when i checked it was not bolted so was able to get in

Easy walk from station into old town centre, attractive reception and bar, dining area. Good cooked breakfast.

I stayed for just the one night. Check-in was friendly and easy. Shame the restaurant wasn't open for longer so had to go to Wetherspoons instead. Note that this is not a pub, despite the images showing beer pumps and spirits bottles! I was hoping it was more of a 'local' with some atmosphere and decent beer, but it didn't really matter. The room was absolutely fine with a huge amount of storage space. Quite a rarity in many places. Bed was OK with plenty of pillows. Shower cubicle a bit cramped but worked fine. Larger people than me may struggle a bit. Only real downside was the thin walls between rooms with zero soundproofing. The occupant of the room next to me had a 2 hour phone conversation between 12:30 and 2:30 am which woke me up and largely kept me awake. He wasn't talking at all loudly (just normal speaking voice), just at that time of the night/morning it was really noticeable and I could just about hear the actual words. That was just bad luck for me, but it meant I didn't get a good night's sleep. Suppose the noises could have been worse!

Friendly and helpful staff, clean comfortable room

We were visiting the area for the Commonwealth Games. Lovely hotel, friendly staff.

Staff were excellent and very accommodating.

The Peel was a lovely old property in a central location with very friendly staff. It is an old property and with that comes small showers and stairs, but wouldn't have stayed anywhere else.

The property was very nice and had a wonderful Restaurant called Christopher's. Everyone was super nice!
