the cottage was cute, plenty of parking ,
very good location
There was no internet in the cottage, I texted the lady from the reception the moment we arrived, she didn't respond till the next day. Then she sent me again the password which we already had. My partner went to see her next day and explained the internet is not working, she said the internet is working, they pay a lot of money for us and there is probably an issue with our devises. We kept trying but the internet was not working. I tried to call the reception few times, no one was responding or return sign my calls. On the day before we were leaving they finally sent an engineer to fix the internet, he spent 2 hours in the cottage and finally fixed it. The lady from the reception was with him when he arrived. She was arrogant and she said to me "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING" as if I don't speak English. We are not born in UK and we do have an accent, but we've been living in UK for 20 years. We speak very good English and having this type of behaviour towards us was really humiliating and upsetting.
There was no apologies for the fact that we didn't have internet for 2 days. The attitude of the staff was not professional at all, it made us feel unwelcome.

Was a very comfortable and very clean room with good sized bathroom. Restaurant was lovely and food was superb. Staff very very friendly and accommodating.
Theer was a large metal staircase going up to the room. This could be a health hazard if the weather was icy and also an older person may struggle to get up the stairs as quite steep.

Nice food pleasant staff comfortable
Too much red tape and email password confusion

There were no meals available, just a bar.
I felt like I was staying a backyard room. The pictures do not accurately convey the type of accommodation. Had I known it was just a backyard with rooms off a parking lot, I would never have booked there. Very misleading. I wont be back.

Lovely warm room. Comfy bed. Lovely bathroom. Good breakfast.
Air conditioning had no remote and no control over heating, but as we are coming towards colder weather is know how we like it to be.

The breakfast was really nice, the location was perfect and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The room is a little dated now and could do with a spruce up if there is some budget there to do so.

Love the idea of having a flat for ourself, with own kitchen and all 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom, total privacy. Friendliness of the receptionist.
The only thing is the window, a little tricky and old, we’re too careful for it not to fall. But overall happy.

We were in no.6 and it not only looked lovely, but was really clean. It was warm while we was there, there was a fan and then we worked out there was air conditioning!
The Peel itself is an ideal location for tamwoth town centre and a short 5min walk from castle grounds.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and no problem with swapping items to accommodate preferences, with personal service. The towels were fluffy and huge. The staff were lovely - helpful, friendly and smiley
The bathroom door squeaked and needed WD40! But we told someone in the morning and they immediately put it on the list of things to be dealt with.

Cot and high chair were not in the room as previously agreed in writing ; however, the manager Sarah was delightful , helpful and went beyond the call of duty by offering to set the cot up. Made the rest of the stay a brilliant experience.

Location good. Decor was okay.
Bedroom was unbearably hot during a few days of ‘heatwave’. Aircon not working (we asked). Fan provided didn’t help. The heat in the room actually made us both feel extremely uncomfortable. Trying to get ready for a wedding was very difficult. Room located overlooking back car park. Metal outside steps leading up to the room were extremely steep. Quite challenging when carrying a suitcase up and down. No warning of this when booking. Some people would struggle with these definitely. Had we been warned about this we would not have booked

Good location, great rooms
Restaurant and bar do not open Monday or Tuesday

Christopher's breakfast excellent menu choice - an expensive addition to room cost. Bedroom overlooking the car park had a good size shower (slippery floor). A shelf over the basin would be useful. All staff friendly/helpful.
Not particularly good rooms. 1 overlooked car park and external air con units only 1 opening window, the other overlooked the main road, had no opening windows and cramped bathroom.

Very clean. Excellent shower. Free parking. Friendly staff. Superb breakfast with an excellent choice (if you book via Booking.com you order breakfast from the menu in the morning and pay per item so it was a bit more expensive than we'd expected).
We stayed in a room in the rear building which was accessed up a steep fire escape. The walls were very thin and we could hear the person next door talking and snoring!
