Fantastic experience staying here with wife and friend. The staff are very polite and professional. The onsens are relaxing. The autumn view from our room was absolutely gorgeous, as was the view from the dining area. The food was excellent, always filling. Quick walk from Gora Station but even quicker to use the next station up if you are taking the cable car to Owakudani/Lake Ashi. We had a very memorable experience here and were really impressed with the cleanliness and comfort provided by the staff.

What an incredible experience while visiting Japan, the authentic dinner & breakfast were outstanding, and the close proximity to Hakone Ropeway, Lake Ashi and breathtaking views of Mt Fuji was a bonus!!

Great ryokan! Nice staff, clean, excellent kaiseki dinner and breakfast— bring your appetite! Good location! Short walk from train and ropeway was perfect for us, be warned that (like several other lodgings in Gora) it’s up a steep hill. Carpet needs updating. View of the mountain from the common area was very peaceful.
