    You can't go out or in from certain time in early morning... If you are planning to have night life in Shinjuku, this is not a good place. Other than that, it's just a fairly normal business hote.

    This hotel is good for specific purposes if you under their many rules. It's best for a one night stay -- check in at 4 pm, shower, sleep, and leave by 10 am. It has strict hours when you can access your room and the hotel. You only access to your room between 4 pm and 10 am but the hotel entrance is also locked with no access between 1 am and 6 am. So if you're outside you're locked out. If you book more than one night, you also have to vacate your room betwee 10 am and 4 pm although the public areas are still accessible (lobby, office desks, vending machines, public bath). The hotel provides towels and robe. The single room has a private toilet and bath. There is a public bath and laundry in the basement and vending machines on the 2nd floor. It's a decent alternative to dorm and capsule hotels with shared bedrooms and bathrooms if you instead want a quiet single room with a private bath for an overnight stay.

    It wasn't until I checked in that I realized the doors were locked from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Even university dorms weren't this strict. Sometimes, I'd have a drink near the hotel and be forced to stay up until 6 a.m. If I could go back in time, I'd choose a different hotel.
