Overall my stay was good! The couple that run the place are very sweet and remind me of my grandparents, you can tell they care and make a big effort to ensure everyone’s stay is good. I would book here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Violeta! Our room was very clean and Violeta was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks on our large terrace with a view of the sea. Air conditioning was great. Location was very quiet as it was short walk from the busy town of Hvar. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

Highly recommend this properly - the room was spacious with a kitchen area and a big balcony. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest places I have stayed and location is only about ten min walk from the port. The couple who run it are so lovely and really welcoming.

Our stay at Violeta Hvar was one of our best hotels.com experiences ever. We’ve stayed in many places that were as described or less than described but never one that so greatly exceeded our expectations. The owners take great pride in their place and it absolutely shows. The management went above and beyond to make our stay in Hvar absolutely perfect! We were on a trip celebrating my daughter’s university graduation. After touring through many of the surrounding countries on a whirlwind tour, we decided to extend our trip by five days to relax and just swim in the gorgeous ocean that is Croatia. After reading all the excellent reviews by previous vacationers we decided on Violeta Hvar instead of another one of our top picks. This place and it’s delightful owners did not disappoint! We will definitely go back if Jesus tarries for His church any longer and highly, highly recommend this place and location to anyone wanting a wonderful and delightful place to stay! The closest beaches that are very easily walkable from Violeta Hvar were our all time favorite out of the many beaches we had previously explored. We were able to easily rent a moped/scooter from the owners - and the pizza place downstairs is very reasonably priced - and excellent pizza! Violeta even did our dirty laundry (for free!) while we toured around the stunning island of Hvar on their scooters! We were treated royally and most definitely will come back, Lord willing. We highly, highly recommend Violeta Hvar!

Super clean and lovely property just a few minutes walk from old town. Be aware if arriving at the port that the walk is short (maybe 10 minutes) but is uphill and includes stairs. I recommend not hauling your large wheelie, luckily I had a backpack. The apartment was sparkling fresh and spacious!

Absolutely perfect - the hosts, the rooms, the location, the view. Rooms are very clean with a very big and spacious double bed. The huge balcony is a big bonus - you will not get that at any other hotel nearby. It’s 7 minute walk to Hvar town and to Hula Hula. Couldn’t recommend Violeta more! And the couple running the place are so lovely. 10/10 would stay again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Violeta in Havr! Prosper and Violeta, the hosts, were incredibly hospitable, making me feel right at home from the moment myself and my partner arrived. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the friendly service they provided made our trip all the more enjoyable. One of the things that stood out to me the most was the sense of safety I felt throughout my stay. The location was secure, and the hosts were always available and attentive to any needs we had. I highly recommend Hotel Violeta for couples or friends looking for a relaxing and memorable trip. The combination of cleanliness, warm hospitality, and safe environment creates the perfect getaway. I can't wait to return for another visit!

We had a canceled flight so we had to change dates on the hotel and we sent them an email and they changed the dates for us for no extra charge and they are the sweetest people! Changin the dates saved our trip! The hotels location is peeerfect! And this tiny apartment was everything we needed a balcony, kitchen and a great bed. They even have an on site scooters you can rent and we loved doing a scooter day! And the also have boat rental on site. I would book again for sure :)

Short but nice stay here. Lovely owners who are always around which made the property feel a bit safer. Bed slightly firm for us and we did run out of hot water on our final night but we slept well and really enjoyed the location. Room was super clean on arrival too!

Lovely place run by a very nice elderly couple, we had the first room with balcony and partial ocean view, very spacious and comfortable. Only 5 to 10 minutes to walk to town center but you do have to walk downhill and back uphill. It's also about a 15-20 minute walk to the top of the fortress with amazing views.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice sized room that was very clean. It is located a few minutes walk up a pretty steep hill but they do offer to pick you up down by the bus station in Hvar. The location is near some pretty great views of Hvar! The surroundings were very quiet.

The hosts were a great couple and had lots to offer. Scooter rental and speed boat rentals are available but it was very rainy when we visited so we weren’t able to take advantage of the rentals. They also run a pizza shop out of the building and it smells delicious but we did not try it. The room was very clean and spacious and looks exactly like the pictures. Only problem we had was a slow drain for the shower. I would recommend staying here!

Met by the mother and daughter at Violeta, both incredibly nice and welcoming. Our flat was everything we were after, king size bed (comfy), kitchen (with cutlery, pots and pans etc) and balcony (sun awning and table & chairs) allowed us to eat in, prepare lunches and drink sundowners in the evening. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The mother, bless her, even said goodbye in her pyjamas at 06:00 as we left the flat for the ferry back to Split. Great value for money.

The room was spotless and exactly as advertised in the description and pictures. This is a small family-run hotel - we appreciated the owners' hospitality and helpfulness! The hotel's location is within walking distance of the main town area (Hvar Grad), and a car is not necessarily needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare breakfast. The only minor negative point was that the wifi was not always strong/fast.

Great Hotel. Violeta and her family were incredible hostess. Great location. You need to call them so they can pick you up in the ferry, 2 minutes from the Hotel. Please rent the scooter, that’s the best way to explore the island.
