On entering our room, one of the curtains was hanging off the runner. We booked a family room with a queen bed to sleep 4.When I made the reservation I made it quite clear it was for 3 adults and the booking was accepted. However, they brought in a cot (fold up bed) being the third bed which when my son sat on, collapsed. There were slats missing. When reported to reception was told it was for a child. They knew we had a party of 3 adults and charged a supplement of 15 euros night for the third person, even though I paid for a family room. I asked them to separate the queen bed and with the single bed gave us the number of beds we needed, and booked for. We were up in the eaves, the carpet needed cleaning, no smoke alarm in the room, no fan or window in the bathroom. Only two sets of towels and repeatedly had to ask for the third set. Then to cap it all after paying the bill received a message that they had debited a further amount on my friends card, who did not give authority to do so. I had to give card details when I booked. I paid my bill with cash. The message said there was a problem with my bill, not that they had made an error.

Clean hotel but the room we stayed in was dated in its decoration. The sink was also very high and you could hear other plumbing noises from other rooms. The hotel was very busy. We had drinks on the terrace and in the bar . We ate breakfast within the allocated time but there were no croissants left and the charcuterie was slow in being replenished. Not a great deal of choice for breakfast. However the staff were friendly and helpful

Hotel was situated at the edge of town, so perfect location, reception staff very helpful, bed was comfy, rooms looking abit tired but ok for price, no secure parking at hotel, but free public parking near-by..we did not use the restaurant, but was very busy so presumably it is good

Our stay was at the Hôtel Ô Gayot was very enjoyable and relaxing, the rooms are comfortable but basic. Food and service was very good and all the staff were very friendly even during this difficult time we felt very welcomed.

We arrived about 5pm on Bastille day having driven from Caen WE had a lovely meal at the hotel and then walked down to the lake for the firework show. There were hundreds of people eating on the pavement cafes and a wonderful atmosphere.

Although situated at the top of town we were very much impressed with the Hotel, our room had its own spacious balcony, and the bathroom was very modern and clean.dinner at the hotels restaurant was first class with excellent food and service, the bar area was of a art deco style and made for a very relaxing evening. we travelled by motorbike and the staff were very helpful to give us a safe area to park off of the main road, overall we were really impressed and would not hesitate to stay here again in this must see area of France

We used this Hotel as a stop over on the way back from the Lot region. A great little hotel in a wonderful little town. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Our room (2 adults and 2 teenage children) overlooked the main street but we all got a great nights sleep in comfortable beds. The surrounding town is full of restaurants. We enjoyed a drink overlooking the lake by the casino late afternoon and ate in a local restaurant where the food and wine was first class. Its definitely worth going back and extending our stay next time.
