We were a group of 4 on a cycling holiday. A lovely hotel near the centre of the town and in the old town. Lovely rooms, a safe secure place for our bicycles, efficient staff and nice (albeit small serves) dinner and breakfast.

Very helpful Staff, clean room and public areas, dog firendly, free parking adjacent to the hotel. My personal opinion is that the Dinner and Breakfast costs are too high for a 3* Hotel. The qualioty of food was excellent but as a traveller staying only for 1 night I did not need such expensive meal options. In fact I declined breakfast because of the cost

Because wet weather curtailed our sightseeing we arrived two hours too early so unsurprisingly there was no room ready for us. The reception staff made us coffee and let us drip gently in a comfy corner of the reception area until a room was available. Dinner was exceptional.

The staff were very friendly and did their best to speak English with us. The hotel is extremely charming and pretty. Our room was small but tasteful. A lovely view of the courtyard below. Definitely needed more closet or drawer space, however. The bathroom was overall clean and adequate, but it was older and needed to be updated or renovated-- no counter space at all. A little moldy/gunky grout in the shower area. The most difficult thing about this hotel is the number of stairs/doors through which you have to navigate to get up to your room if you are not on the ground floor. Lugging suitcases up the staircase was not a great start to the stay. The town itself is quaint and quiet and worth exploring.

Great location in Mortagne-au-Perche. Easy and quick check-in. Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Room was clean and adequate in size by European standards. Hotel has no elevator but owner helped carry the luggage up the stairs. Car park is convenient. Restaurant was outstanding. We would definitely stay at the Hotel du Tribunal again. Breakfast buffet was very good.

The Hotel Du Tribunal was just what we needed to get our family off to a great start to our holiday. There was parking just outside the front door and we were greeted and swiftly shown to our beautifully appointed rooms. It was the hottest day of the year, so my only reservation was that it was a little warm. However electric fans were provided and we chose to eat inside the restaurant. The food was delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We found the hotel was a delightful, comfortable, old-fashioned (but with modern facilities), small-town one, and the staff were excellent. The decor reflected the hotel's history and its area. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and focused on local and high-quality foods. Parking was also easy, in the square in front of the hotel. If we find ourselves in this region again, we will stay here - and for longer.

Really lovely hotel in a quite a large town. There are a few things to visit around but it is a great place to spend a few restful days. The staff were all excellent and the restaurant was first class. Thank you for the very nice stay.

The rooms looked recently decorated and very comfortable. The only member of staff did not appear to take any pleasure from helping people. She was efficient, but not willing to make any effort to provide a great service. We had two bicycles which needed somewhere safe to be left overnight. We were only offered an internal courtyard for which the security was not great. There did appear to be areas where the bikes could have been placed undercover with minimal inconvenience, but we were not offered those.

Nothing too much trouble. Accommodation comfortable - all rooms with distinct character in really ancient former court house in ancient Normandy small town. Very well worth the trip.
