Great hotel, clean, tidy with interesting African themed décor and splendid breakfast!

The hotel was incredibly clean and full of interesting African themed artifacts. The attention to detail is incredible with all sorts of items added to the room such as a well stocked cupboard with wine, beer, soft drinks, packets of nuts and other nibbles, all included in the price. You choose your breakfast the night before and everything is laid out beautifully in the morning. There are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance and others a short drive away. We stopped for a night on the way further south and again on the way back. We thoroughly recommend it.

Just a lovely place to stay if you find yourself in Basse Normandie.

The owner was delightful and incredibly enthusiastic describing restaurants and shops close by as variously super cool, super funky or super sexy ! She kindly made a reservation at La Verticale for dinner which was a 10 minute walk into the old town. The rooms are quirky (we stayed in Mata Hari) with a very comfortable bed and a well designed bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and the dining room is full of artefacts collected and sourced from Southern Africa. Belleme itself was an unexpected delight.

Second stay here this summer and we loved it - really well curated decor with great design flair and good central location close to electric car charging.

Breakfast order a bit tricky - our misunderstanding over quantities and ordered too much on both occasions but who can resist anothe crosisant or pain au chacholate!

Beautifully decorated, and amazing atmosphere - a perfect B&B

What a lovely little B&B! The owners are incredibly welcoming and you feel like you're staying with family friends! The style and decor are exceptional and give the place an increcible feel. The breakfast was sizeable and delicious. We'd have loved to stay for longer.

The only minor blip for us was the air conditioning unit was loud/made odd impromptu noises so we slept with the window open which meant we did experience some noise from the road.

Very welcoming and friendly. Encouraging as we practiced our French. Nicely quirky themed room. Very comfy bed. Little comforts making life easy e.g. phone charging points, ipod player, music in the shower! Provided tinned pates for us when we didn't want to go out to eat.

On a vécu une très belle expérience !

Un super emplacement en plein centre de Bellême. Tout se fait à pied. Le gite est superbe ! la décoration est vraiment très attrayante et chaleureuse. On s'y sent comme chez soi avec un bon thé au coin du feu. Les hôtes Anaïs et Kurt sont d'une gentillesse extrême et de bons conseils ! Ne pas hésiter une seule seconde à y aller.
