    There were no bath towels provided in my room. and and there were no spare towels available either. I had to walk around and check cupboards myself just to find something I could use. Eventually, I found what looked like a floor towel. Since I needed to shower and had no other option, I had no choice but to use it to dry myself. This was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. I really hope the hotel improves its housekeeping standards and ensures that proper bath towel are provided for every guest. the VIP Gold status didn’t seem to help at all. Basic necessities like towels shouldn’t be an issue, regardless of membership status

    positive: nice quiet fridge, clean and well maintained. negative: TV old and wont receive video from most of the Sydney stations which are on a more modern format. I arrived 2pm to no reception and unable to check in. Was told there was no reception that day (Sunday) but the staff at nearby Challis Lodge were very helpful Check in looks almost impossible without an Australian SIM card on the phone. The WIFI is password protected and cant be used without knowing the password. Without the Challis Lodge staff I would have spent the night on the streets.
