The Eyre Hotel provided everything we needed on our trip through Galway. Our primary considerations are cleanliness, location & a good breakfast to start the day-The Eyre Hotel met them all and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, steps from the buses & train, quick walk to the Latin Quarter, West End a little further but still an easy walk, a convenience store was across the street and there were several restaurants & pubs surrounding Eyre Square, including the one adjacent to the hotel if you wanted to get away from the crowds of the Latin Quarter for a bit. We found the pizza at Gatto Rosso on the square to be very good. The Aran Islands Tour pier was also close by. Breakfast was very good and pretty comprehensive. A good hotel for spending time in Galway.
