    Our stay at the Iron Gate Hotel was a great one. The room was lovely and the staff were approachable and friendly. The breakfast included with our stay was a buffet and was nice, though not stand out. However when we splurged and purchased a breakfast from the menu it was lovely. And a dessert stop one evening certainly did not disappoint!

    The hotel is located right in the middle of the Old Town and is just 2 minutes away from the Astronomical Clock, churches, squares and lots of wonderful restaurants and markets - so the location is great! The rooms and the hotel itself are very ornately decorated and quite a novel experience for the Asian traveller. Housekeeping services were excellent - good enough to notice! Reception staff was a little cold but perhaps that’s the culture. Do note that because it is in a car-free pedestrian zone, you have to haul your luggage about 200m on big cobblestone roads to get to/from the hotel, which isn’t a great experience, esp for those of you with wheelie luggages. (I was told by the hotel if you use their hotel car, you’ll get transported right up to their doorstep.) This is an important consideration for those with heavy luggages or mobility issues.

    This hotel is exceptional and has been beautifully maintained. We've stayed here twice & would highly recommend it. Location is within steps of the old town square.

    They have charged me extra what it was mentioned in my booking. They charged me saying that I have to give service tax also which was not mentioned before anywhere .
