One night stopover en route to Le Shuttle small friendly town and hotel is very central and looks mainly to be an events venue but staff very friendly and a breakfast to die for.

Hotel did exactly what it was needed for. Gent-Wevelgem cyclo event. Free parking and 1 min ride to start - perfect!

Stayed overnight and was not disappointed. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Efficient and friendly reception and a nice breakfast. No restaurant but as it’s a town center restaurant there’s a fair few options around. Would stay again happily.

Reception partially attended. No restaurant. Worst part was fire alarm was set off by staff member at 5am and was left to scream for almost an hour. I was in business and had a lot of travel the next day which wasn’t easy after that. Nothing said on checkout and no apology.

Nice hotel with an amazing breakfast for the price. But, it was very dirty in the common rooms like the stairs that I used to go to my bedroom. And in the bedroom, the bed and the pillow were great. But, I noticed that it looked quite old and a bit dirty (lot of dust on the desk). The parking is very large and well indicated.

It was a last minute booking so we were not expecting much. We just wanted somewhere to stay overnight to avoid driving back and forth. But Cortina was such a pleasant surprise. The service is quick, efficient and top notch. The facilities itself is not the newest, but it is well-maintained and very clean. You can see that there have been improvements in certain areas that adds a touch of elegance to the place. The breakfast buffet was also amazing! We hope to be back soon for a longer and leisure stay 😍❤️

The rooms my father and I were given both overlooked the street. As this was the hottest night of the year, so far, we were forced to open the windows as there was no air conditioning. This would not have been a problem except that the hotel was hosting a large private party and the guests were still leaving at 04.30. Many were being collected by buses parked directly under our windows, with their engines revving. The guests from the party were also noisy and the worse for drink. Consequently I got almost no sleep between 01.00 and 06.00. I cant necessarily hold the hotel responsible for the behaviour of the party guests but 04.30 is a totally unreasonable time for people to still be leaving. If it were the UK, the neighbours would have taken out a nuisance order against the hotel - I pity the surrounding residents if this is a regular occurrence. It was alos clear why the hotel took payment upon check-in as they probably knew that this would ahppen and that we would likely refuse to pay on departure.

Stayed end July/start of August. Despite hotel advertising we found NO restaurant, NO bar, NO 24 hour staffing, NO replacement towels. No one bothered when we complained.

Wifi not good, mostly unavailable. Room at front of hotel and traffic very noisy. Noise from a wedding at the hotel one night too. Next time well insist on a quiet room at the back, which wasnt available this time, despite my requesting it weeks ago. The toilet was separate from the bathroom with no hand basin. Good tea and coffee making facilities and fridge/minibar. Nice breakfast. Lovely staff. No restaurant at present but one opens there next month. Places to eat in nearby Main Street. Good central hotel near shops with plenty of parking. Hotel is being refurbished.

The hotel was being redecorated and we were not informed.My wife was coated in dust as she went to leave the main entrance.We had nowhere to sit in the hotel so had to go out to have fa meal and have a drink.Our room was on the top floor where it was hot and the fan was to noise to use.
