The Spinney - Spectacular views over the bay and close to beach with parking

We loved everything about our holiday, we had everything we needed and it was home from home. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views were amazing. We didn't want to leave.

Nothing not to like

We loved the view, the outside space, the location, the upstairs bedrooms, kitchen diner and lounge. It was well kitted out indoors and everything worked. Although the fridge was small for 9 people. It was mostly clean but could do with a good deep clean, especially the bathrooms. However the bedding and towels were pristine. Tea coffee milk etc provided was good and scones etc very welcome, plus a bag of ice in freezer was very thoughtful. The hot tub was great. We enjoyed our stay in spite of standards not being quite as high as we were expecting.

We didn't like the poky downstairs bedroom with no wardrobe chair or bedside tables. We didn't like the 5th bedroom, also downstairs with ill fitting curtains hanging off the rails, again no wardrobe and no bedding for the sofa bed. We didn't like the only 2 broken sunbeds and only 6 outdoor chairs around a table for 10. Some new sunbeds were provided after I complained, but not until our last night so no use to us. It was very sad to have such a wonderful sunny decking area and great views, but nothing to sit on!! The garden needs a good overhaul. It obviously used to be rather grand but has been neglected.
