Three Beaches Holiday Apartments - close to Goodrington beach in Paignton

The location was fantastic for us, as we wanted to be close to a beach area for regular walks, alongside being able to travel around and see local towns / attractions. There are some fantastic walks through Goodrington beach, and via car - not too far away are fantastic places to visit such as the Italian Gardens (£6 per adult), Buckfast Abbey, and Berry Pomroy Castle. The beaches (red sand) were hit and miss, in part - the longer stretch is not dog friendly understandably during holiday season, whereas a further smaller stretch is. I personally missed being able to chill out / stroll on a nice sandy beach - but thats being so used to places like Aberdovey / Perranporth. I highly recommend the Cantina bar and restaurant just off the beach - the food and drinks and staff are superb and really helped our break. Jo - the host, is super cool and friendly, and I am sure if wee needed anything she would have helped - but we didnt, the place was great, we had all we needed. We had great weather luckily as the forecast was initially storm / rain - but alas, the sun blessed us.

Excellent location

there was no enclosed outdoor/garden area, which would have been nice to sit in the evening and for dogs

Host Jo met us on arrival and gave us keys. Jo also provided a hairdryer as we had forgotten ours. Milk and cakes were provided as a welcome in the apartment. Good to have parking outside apartment.

Even though it was June, it felt cold in the evenings and central heating not on initially, but was switched on after a few nights. However, there was a portable heater available which we used.

Great location. Host very helpful.
