Quayside View - Luxury Apartment on Paignton Harbour

No clear instructions re waste disposal . There were 2 bins in the kitchen and a food collection bin. Info said was a private bin outside to dispose of household waste. We could not locate one for Quayside View. No recycling bin. Had to leave our rubbish and recycling inside which we didn’t like doing ! Also confusion over car parking . I’d enquired about car parking and was told there were 2 allocated spaces . Only one evident marked space. Also said temperature was controlled remotely and kept at 20deg. No evidence of that , what looked like a hive in the hall was turned off and the boiler in the kitchen was only set to hot water. On 2 evenings the temp registered in the kitchen was below 20deg. It was colder in the lounge and bedrooms but no heating came on !

Great location,wonderful view of harbour and Torbay. Ideally situated for bars and shops. Well furnished and equipped to a high standard . Recommend a takeaway from the Rickshaw Boy below!

Be aware that people with limited mobility may find the stairs to the property a challenge. A proper bannister rail would help

The location was excellent, the view was amazing, and the apartment was clean, spacious, and very well equipped. Had private allocated parking. We would definitely return.

The proximity to takeaway and pub meant there was some smell and noise. But it is equally nice to have such facilities close by. We just kept bedroom windows closed and used fans provided.

Arrival and parking instructions were very clear. Accommodation was very clean and quite spacious. Terrace was nice and the view excellent although the funny little steps up from the living room to the terrace were unnecessarily narrow in my opinion.

Heating! The whole place was set to 20C which during the day is fine, but a little too warm for sleeping. There was a lot of outside noise and the windows needed to be shut so the bedrooms were stuffy and neither of us slept well. On the Wednesday we ate early and planned a pleasant evening on the terrace but that was cut short by an "entertainer" at Molly's (across the road). The music was so loud we could not hear each other talk, and had to shut up all the windows to block out the noise.
