Seas The Day - Paignton, Close to Beach, Excellent Location

The house suited our family very well - plenty of rooms, extremely well provisioned kitchen equipment, with even an icemaker which was very popular during hot weather. There was a fully enclosed garden which was great for our 4 young grandsons to play in as well as being safe for our 3 dogs. We watched part of the English Riviera Airshow from the house, which was an added bonus! The welcome pack was much appreciated and very thoughtful. The decor was beautiful and all the rooms well stocked with soap, tissues and even face wipes. Good wifi too. We loved eating out on the patio on the garden furniture, and again all in great condition. Lots of games, books and toys, though we didn't use them so much - too busy on activities! There was plenty of parking for our 3 cars and the house is in walking distance of the main beach, the pier and the Green, with a great playpark and all dog friendly (apart from the main beach. With a dog you needed a car to get to the two local dog beaches, Fairy Cove and Goodrington Sands North. Also a nearby Sainsburys Local, which was within a few minutes' walk. The host was very quick to respond and very helpful and accommodating - even supplied us fans in case the house got hot in the heatwave. He also gave us early check-in and later checkout free of charge, which was very helpful. We highly recommend this lovely house and helpful host!

A couple of the windows were a bit dodgy to open, but so minor hardly worth mentioning! Black-out curtains for the two single rooms would have been helpful - trying to get the toddlers to sleep in the light evenings was hard work (the blinds didn't darken the rooms much).

It was very convenient for the leisure centre as we stayed for a karate course. But so close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely garden with lots of seating for everyone

The property was very spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. It was very well equipped and in particular the kitchen facilities were excellent. The property was decorated for Christmas and thank you very much for the finishing touches including fresh flowers and generous Christmas goodies. There is ample parking on the driveway in front of the house and on road parking is also available. The property has a good sized rear garden but given the time of year we did not use the garden. The property is well situated with easy access to the beach and town. Shops for forgotten essentials are within easy walking distance. Our family all commented on how lovely and cosy the property is and how it met our needs. We would love to return and would most definitely recommend a stay here.
